Cricket : Former Indian Superstar Selects Sachin Tendulkar Over Virat In ODIs.

There is always a comparison in any sports in the world. In Cricket and In India Sachin hailed as a god of cricket and Virat Kohli called as a King.

 Gautam Gambhir is a former Indian Cricketer who gave India many match-winning innings who picks Sachin Tendulkar between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

Gambhir gave some reason why he chooses Sachin Tendulkar Over Virat Kohli because Today's Cricket becomes easier for a batsman than it was during Tendulkar's Era.  

Sachin Tendulkar has so many records in his book. he is the First Person to score 200 in an ODI, the First to achieve scoring 100 hundred in a Game of The Cricket. Besides this Sachin Tendulkar has so many Records. 

On a Star Sports show "Cricket Connected", the question asked to Gambhir who he picks between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, He picks Sachin and gave some reason," Because, with one white ball and four fielders inside the circle, not five fielders outside, it will be Sachin for me. It's difficult because Virat Kohli has done phenomenally well but I think the rules have changed as well which has helped a lot of new batters. A new generation with two new balls, no reverse swings, nothing to the finger spin, five fielders inside for the 50 overs probably that makes batting easier." 

He also added that" Look at how Sachin Tendulkar has played, that time 230-240 was a winning total. probably I will go with Sachin Tendulkar if we see the longevity and flow of the one-day Cricket Format."

Kohli is doing great in today's Cricket and he is the best Cricketer of today's Era. He scored 27 Test Centuries and 43 ODI Centuries, He has the potential to break Sachin's 100 Century record. 

Kohli is 31 years old and he has much Cricket left in him, If he scores a minimum of 2 centuries each year within 4 years he will break Sachin's record in the ODI Format for the most Centuries.

and In Test He is far behind Sachin's 51 centuries, Kohli has scored 27 centuries in Test and he is 24 centuries behind Sachin's 51. In Test, It looks like it's going to be difficult to break Sachin's record. Sachin scored 15921 runs in the Test and Kohli scored 7240 runs in Test. He is 8681 runs behind from breaking Sachin's record in the test for most runs. In ODI he scored 11867 runs compared to Sachin's 18426 runs. Kohli has a chance to break Sachin's ODI centuries record but for other records, it's going to be difficult for him to break.

Because of the easy format and easy rules in Today's Era compared to Sachin's Era, Gautam Gambhir picks Sachin over Virat Kohli.
