French Open: Nadal cruises into the 13th French Open Final after a victory over Diego.

French Open 2020: Rafael Nadal is on the hunt for the 20th Grandslam title. He is now just one win away from equalling Roger Federer's 20 Majors.


Nadal got an easy victory over Diego Schwartzman 6-3 6-3 7-6(7-0).  Diego Schwartzman is the one who won against Nadal in the last month's Italian Open. This is the only victory Diego got against Nadal in their matchup. Before that match Nadal won all 9 games against Argentine. and Nadal continues this momentum with a victory over Diego Schwartzman in the Semifinal of the Roland Garros. 


Diego played a 5-set thriller against US Open Champion and two times runners up Dominic Thiem in a quarter-final and he won it. A match took a time of 5 hours and 8 minutes.     


Diego Swartzman got many breakpoints in a game even more than Nadal got on his serve but he was unable to convert that breakpoint into a game point. He got 12 breakpoints and converted only 3 while Nadal got 9 breakpoints and converted 6 out of them. 


Nadal makes into the French Open Final without even dropping a set. with just two tiebreakers in all of his 6 games.

This is Rafael Nadal's 99th victory in Roland Garros since he made his debut in 2005. Now he has a chance to win 100 games at Roland Garros and 20th Major titles of his career. This is Nadal's 28th Grand Slam Finals. 


Rafael Nadal will face the second semifinal's winner Tsitsipas or Novak Djokovic. If Djokovic will face Nadal in the finals than he also has a chance to make a record on his name. He has a chance to be the first player to win all four Majors two times. 


Nadal needed 14 minutes to hold his first service game of the match. Diego got 2 breakpoints in that serve of Nadal. Nadal took a 3-1 lead in with 3 consecutive breaks in the first four games, two on Diego's and one on Nadal's serve. Nadal took the first set 6-3. This set took one hour and four minutes to finish. Nadal got a hand in the second set with 6-3.


Nadal got an early 3-1 lead in the third set of the match but Diego got back his serve back and after that he equal the score. Nadal struggled to take advantage after finding his way through a game of the third set at 5-5, he saved 3 breakpoints. In the tie break, Nadal won all of 7 points to take a match and book a place into the final.
