Victor Wmbenyama and Spurs playing great in this years' NBA season. Last year's NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder also look like unbeaten this year and before this game they only lost one game in 25 games.

 

OKC was the hot favorite to win NBA cup but they were stunned by San Antonio Spurs. Wembanyama return after 12 game where he scored 22 points with 2 blocks, 1 steal, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 21 minutes with +21.

 

This was the OKC's only second loss of the season where they last defeated by Portalnd on 5th November. They are now only second behind to GSW where they made 25-1 run in 2015-16.

For Spurs De'Aaron Fox and Castle is in great form this season. Fox scored 22 points with 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and a block. Castle scored 22 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Vassell scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block.

 

For OKC Shai Gilgeous Alexander scored 29 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal. Chet Holmgren and Williams scored 17 points each. Alex Caruso scored 11 points with 3 steals. Jalen Williams stole a ball 4 times from the Spurs' players. Alex Caruso has the highest rating of +22 in a game.

 

When Victor was on the floor OKC was outscored by 21 points. Now they will face New York Knicks on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. When Victor Wembanyama was absent due to a strained left calf injury Spurs made a good run of 9-3. Now after return of Wembanyama they will be more thrilled and comparative and it will be tough to stop Spurs in the NBA Cup final.

Lakers is the most successful franchise in the NBA with Boston Celtics winning 17 NBA titles. Last season Lakers faced many injury problems which put them in the first-round elimination against the Phoenix suns. Anthony Davis and LeBron James suffered an injury at the crucial time of the season and in the playoffs.  


Without LeBron James and Anthony Davis Lakers are not the top team in the West and they felt in the last season. Last season LeBron James played in the playoffs with injury as he was not fully healthy and Anthony Davis missed playoff games with the injury. 


Dannis Schroder is a very good point guard but he failed to penetrate the opposition team's paint which is the most important part for any point guard. Kuzma has talent but he was unsuccessful with the Lakers despite having the ability to become a very good player because of his attitude problem towards a game of basketball. He has a body of an elite defensive player and has also become a great scorer. Kuzma's performance in the last season was very bad. If Kuzma had played the third guy for the Lakers then it will be a different story for the Lakers. He got many chances to prove himself in the last season in the absence of Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Dennis.

Now, If the Lakers will get a hand on Russell Westbrook, the Lakers will become stronger. Lakers will become too much stronger in the paint with a player like LeBron James who is already a great scorer in the paint and the Lakers already have Anthony Davis who can play at any position. Lakers also have big rebounder Andre Drummond who averaged 13.7 RPG. 


Lakers will become a tough-minded team which is the most important part of any game. LeBron, Russell Westbrook both are very good leaders in the NBA. 


The Lakers will become stronger on the defensive end. Russell Westbrook is the kind of player who can give more than 100% for the game. He can give a tough time to any point guard in the league to score on him. Russel Westbrook is one of the fast players in the NBA means the Lakers will get better in the Transition.


There are some drawbacks in this trade for the Lakers. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook both are ball-dominant players. They will have to adjust every position, This will going to be the most difficult task for the Lakers. 


Russell Westbrook is not a good 3-point shooter and he can become more dominant in the game which will cause a problem for his team. If he can adjust his more dominant mind for the game then he can be the most helpful player for the team.

The suns have no answer of bigs in the Milwaukee Bucks that's how Bucks got the edge of the Phoenix Suns in the NBA finals. They started finals with a great performance at home and took an early 2-0 lead but Giannis and Bucks had other ideas and they won consecutive 4 games to steal a title from the Suns. Suns were a heavy favorite to win a title but Bucks won against all odds.


Giannis also defeated heavy favorite Brooklyn Nets with Kevin Durant and James Harden in the Eastern Semis. Here is the reason why Kevin Durant is unable to take the throne of LeBron James as the king. 


As an NBA champion of the season 2020-21, Giannis takes the throne of LeBron James. Giannis won the NBA Finals MVP.

Simons From Portland Trail Blazers


NBA: First player for Portland to win NBA dunk contest in All-Star Weekend at Atlanta. Simons from the Portland Trail Blazers, Obi Toppin from the New York Knicks, and Cassius Stanley from the Indiana Pacers were there to win the NBA dunk contest. But Portland player Anfernee Simon win a contest by blowing a kiss towards the rim and making a dunk.      


Simons and Toppin made a competition in the final round but this time it's different to get a new winner. This time it's about a new rule called "Judge's Choice." Both Players made one dunk in each round.

Rules in the dunk contest:


Three dunkers will each have two dunks in the first round. They will have three attempts to complete each dunk. 


For each dunk, a score of 6 to 10 will be given by each of the five judges, Resulting in a maximum score of 50. The two dunkers with the highest total first-round scores will advance to the final round.


Final round each dunker performs one dunk. This time Judges will not give them points but a winner will be selected by their votes. 


Judges from the panel didn't give them a score to win a competition but they gave a vote to the players. Simons got 3 votes and Toppin got 2 votes. 


Cassius Stanley scored 44 points, Toppin scored 48 points and Simons scored 46 points in their first round of the dunk contest. Stanley got only 37 points in his second attempt. Anfernee Simons pays homage to Tracy McGrady by wearing his jersey in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He made a good dunk and scored 49 points. Toppin jumped above 2 standing men and scored one hand windmill dunk. He got 46 points.


Toppin and Simons got selected for the final round and Simons won it by blowing a kiss to a rim.

In the first quarter, OKC got 10 points lead when 6:03 minutes left in the quarter where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made a driving layup. OKC had 7 points lead in the first quarter. 


The Lakers made a 16-9 run in the starting 5 minutes of the second quarter when 7:41 left in the quarter and LeBron James made a running pull-up jump shot. OKC hold their guard tight and didn't give any chance to the Lakers to take a commanding position of the game as they got 4 points lead after the first half of a play.

The Lakers made another run in the first 3 minutes of the third quarter. They made a 10-2 run and got 4 points lead in the game. 5:38 minutes left in the third quarter, LeBron James made a dunk on KCP's assist which gave 7 points lead to the Lakers. After this OKC made a 5-0 run in just a short amount of time and cut a lead to only 2 points. OKC made a 14-0 run to take a big lead of 8 points in the third quarter when 39.2 left in the quarter. OKC got 8 points lead after 3 quarters of play. 


10:26 minutes left in the 4th OKC got 11 points lead when Justin Jackson made a 3-point jumper on Williams' assist. 4:51 left in the 4th Dennis Schroder's driving layup cut a lead to only 1 point. Alexander and Al Horford made 2 3-pointer which gave 5 points lead to the OKC. OKC had a 107-105 lead with the time remaining of 2:08 in the 4th. After this, the Los Angeles Lakers made an 8-0 run in the 1:53 minutes which gave them 3 points lead. At the last play of OKC, KCP fouled Alexander who made all of his 3 free throws and tied a game. 


 In OT Lakers took command as they made a 7-0 run in the starting 3 minutes of it . Los Angeles Lakers got 7 points lead. The Lakers took a game with 119-112.


For Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James scored 28 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Dennis Schroder added 19 points with 7 boards, 5 dimes, 1 steal, and a block. 


For Lakers Bench Players, Kyle Kuzma scored 11 points with 10 boards, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Harrell had a great game as he scored 21 points with 8 boards, 2 assists, and a block. Mathews had a good game after a long time as he scored 16 points with 3 boards, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. 


For OKC, Alexander scored 29 points with 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Diallo scored 20 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a block. Bazley scored 21 points with 16 boards, 3 assists, and a steal. Horford scored 14 points.


Jackson scored 14 points coming off the bench. 


Los Angeles Lakers were very bad from the 3-point line as they made only 9 out of 38. OKC was also not that good from that range but they made 3 more in the same attempts as the Lakers from the long-range.

Dallas had 11 points lead in the 3rd but GSW made a run of 24-16 and tied a game at 88-88. After this Luka made 2 free-throws out of 3 and Finney Smith scored a layup on Luka's assist for 4 points lead to Dallas. GSW made an 8-3 run and took a lead of 1 point. After this, both teams exchanged some leads until Tim Hardaway Jr scored 5 consecutive points at the end of the third to give 5 points lead to Dallas.

Steph Curry's 8 points run in the last 2 minutes of a game until 28 seconds left in the game cut a lead to just one point and took GSW within a reach of a win but Maxi Kleber made a huge clutch 3-pointer which took away the game from GSW. Dallas Mavericks took a game with 134-132.   


For Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic scored 42 points with 7 boards, 11 assists, and 1 steal. All starters of Mavs scored in double-figure. Finney scored 10 points, Kleber added 16 points, Porzingis put only 18 points with 10 boards, Richardson scored 17 points. 


Hardaway Jr scored 11 points coming off the bench. 


For GSW Wiggins scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Green scored only 2 points but put a huge number on other things with 6 boards, 15 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocks. Curry scored 57 points with 5 assists and 2 steals. Oubre Jr scored 14 points.


Bazemore scored 20 points coming off the bench.

After that Kyle Kuzma made 2-pointer which gave 10 points lead to the Lakers in the second quarter. The Lakers got 9 points lead after the play of the first half.


The Lakers made a 10-2 run in 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter of a game when 3:55 left on the clock. The Lakers got 17 points lead after Anthony Davis made a shot on Talen Horton-Tucker's assist with a score of 80-63. Piston made a comeback in the fourth quarter of the game Detroit Piston made a 20-12 run and cut 10 points Lakers' lead after the third quarter of play to 2 points. Anthony Davis and Schroder's 2 plays gave 6 points lead to the Lakers. Talen Horton-Tucker made the last shot for the Lakers in the regulation after this Los Angeles Laker was unable to make any shot in the remaining 4:06 minutes of the 4th quarter. Josh Jackson's driving layup tied a game for Piston when just 3.1 seconds left in the game.

For Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James scored game-high 33 points with 11 assists, 5 rebounds, 7 turnovers, and 4 steals. Anthony Davis helped the Lakers with 30 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. Dennis Schroder scored 22 points with 8 assists and 4 boards.  


Kuzma dropped 14 points, 6 boards coming off the bench. Caruso and Tucker added 10 points each.


For Detroit Piston Grant scored team-high 32 points, 4 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block with just one turn over. Plumlee added 15 points with 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Wright put a good number on a board with a scoring of 22 points, 2 boards, 10 assists. 


Jackson played a great game coming off the bench as he scored 28 points with 8 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Mykhailiuk scored 11 points.

It is the most disappointing team of the last season from favorite to win an NBA title to knock out of the second round in the playoffs. Despite they got players like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, they were lost against Denver Nuggets. 

Now, They have points to prove that they can win a title. Los Angeles Lakers have two of the top 10 players in the NBA who can play very good basketball at both ends. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will not play like the last season they will give their more than 100% to make into the beating their city rival Los Angeles Lakers and advance into the NBA finals to win it.

Los Angeles Lakers already proved that they are the best team in the past but now they have a very good team against them to win a title. The Lakers got many good and young players in this year's trade deadline and Anthony Davis and LeBron James are playing very good basketball but they have some problem this season. LeBron James getting older and Anthony Davis has injury issues. If they will not play at their 100% then they will face a problem against teams like Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and teams with a big center. 

If they want to repeat a championship run then they have to make their team with the best defense which can guard a team that has players like KD, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. Otherwise, they will not be going to win a championship.


1. Brooklyn Nets:



Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are two of the best offensive player in the NBA. They can score on anyone until they have an elite defense on them. Both players are very good at scoring on second chance when their team's players get offensive rebounds. After getting James Harden in the trade they become more powerful in the offense. Now opposition team has to stop 3 of the top 10 offensive players in the NBA right now.

 Nets have DeAndre Jordan, Jarret Allen, Kevin Durant, and some other players who are very good at grabbing offensive rebounds. Kevin Durant, James Harden, Harris, and Kyrie Irving have long-range shots. Even Jeff Green can hit long-range shots. They can shoot a ball with very good efficiency. Brooklyn Nets' only problem is that they don't have a very good defense but they can build a team to protect a rim. If Brooklyn Nets will face Los Angeles Lakers then they have a better chance to win an NBA title.

If LeBron James' team Los Angles Lakers will get the best record with a bigger margin than the second number team in the NBA than LeBron sure has a shot to win it. 


Until the 18 matches of the season Joel Embid is the clear-cut favorite to win the MVP award and if he will not face any injury and his team will do what they are doing now then no one can stop Joel Embiid from winning an MVP award. 76ers are leading the East with 12-6. Joel Embiid scored 27.7 PPG, 11.5 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.3 SPG, and 1.4 BPG. He is doing great in every field of the game. His team won 12 times and lost only 2 games when he played. 76ers lost all 4 games when he didn't play.


Kevin Durant scored 30.4 PPG with 7.1 RPG, 4.1 APG, 0.8 SPG, and 1.4 BPG. He is another player who has the best chance to win the MVP award if he plays the whole season.   


Giannis can get in the way of LeBron Jame as he is playing right now to win an MVP award. He scored 27 PPG with 10.5 RPG, 5.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, and 1.1 BPG in his first 15 games of the season. 


If LeBron James wants to win an MVP award then he has to put a better number than these kinds of players in the league. His superstar teammate Anthony Davis is not playing like he played in his first season for the Lakers.  


Now, LeBron James is getting older not as super-athletic as he was before and new young talents are playing like an elite of the NBA to win NBA's best awards. 


In the season of 2021, LeBron James has 5% of the chances to win an MVP award.

At the end of the 3rd quarter, LeBron James missed a shot that could tie a game at 89. But the Cavs front office was very happy about this missing shot of LeBron James. LeBron made 9 shots out of 10 in the fourth quarter alone. He made 7 3-pointer from 11 and 19 FG from 26.


James said after the game," I felt like he was just a little bit too excited about seeing me miss. He was really excited about me missing that shot. A little bit more extra than I would have liked but he's got to root for his team, obviously and he was he showcased that. So I knew I had another quarter and the 4th quarter is my favorite."


For Cleveland Cavaliers, Their star Centre Andrew Drummond scored 25 points with 17 boards and in those 17 boards, he grabbed 7 offensive rebounds. Osman added 20 points with 2 boards, 2 assists and 3 steals. Sexton scored 17 points. Garland scored 11 points coming off the bench.

For Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown scored game high 33 points in just 19 minutes with 3 boards and 1 assist. Daniel Theis scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist. Marcus Smarts scored 12 points with 9 dimes. Kemba Walker scored 21 points with 5 boards and 4 assists. Edwards was superb coming off the bench as he scored 18 points and Nesmith scored 11 points in a game. Williams scored 9 points.

NBA: Brooklyn Nets lost their second consecutive games against Cleveland Cavaliers. In the last game against Cavs, they had all their 3 stars despite that they lost to the Cavaliers in 2 OTs. Cleveland Cavaliers young point guard Sexton scored career-high 42 points in that game.


Once again Collin Sexton played a huge role to get a second consecutive win against the Nets as he scored 25 points with 9 assists. Jarrett Allen had a great game, He was superb at the rim on both ends- offensive and defensive. Cavs dominated the paint with the help of Larry Nance Jr., Andre Drummond who scored the 13th double-double of the season, and Jarret Allen.

Cavs out rebound Nets with 50 to 29. The Nets felt a huge absence of Kevin Durant at the rim. Kevin Durant did not play in a game because of some injury issue. Cavs got 32 free throws in the game where they made 27 out of them. Nets attempted 43 3-pointer in the game and made only 14 out of them which is not a very bad number but also not a good number for them with the shooter like James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris, Green, and Shamet. 


Kyrie Irving scored 37 points in the last game against Cleveland Cavaliers where they lost to them in 2 OTs. James Harden scored his 4th double-double in his first four games for Brooklyn Nets. 


For Cleveland Cavaliers:


Andre Drummond scored 19 points with 16 boards Nance Jr. scored 15 points with 10 boards. Collin Sexton added team-high 25 points with 2 boards and 9 assists. Garland scored 11 points, Former Nets player Taurean Prince added 14 points. Jarrett Allen added 19 points coming off the bench.


For Brooklyn Nets:


Kyrie Irving scored game-high 38 points with 1 board and 5 assists. James Harden added 19 points, 5 boards, and 11 dimes in 37 minutes of play in a game. Jeff Green added 13 points Cabarrot added 11 points. These are the four players for the Nets who scored in double-figure.

LaMelo is just a rookie in the NBA and he is going to be one of the best in the NBA but not expecting that he can be so good in his starting days in the NBA.


LaMelo scored triple-double at the age of 19 years and 140 days which is 177 days less than Markelle Fultz. Against his brother's team the New Orleans pelicans missed a triple-double by just one assist.

LaMelo helped his guard teammate Terry Rozier to get a win against Atlanta Hawks which dropped 4 consecutive games. Terry Rozier scored 23 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Washington scored 22 points with 7 boards and 1 dime. Caleb Martin did a good job coming off the bench who scored 15 points in the game. 


For Atlanta Hawks, Cam Reddish scored 21 points with 5 boards. Young able to scored 15 points with 10 assists. Hunter added 20 points and 8 boards. 


Charlotte Hornets coach Borrego sain about LaMelo after a game," He is not fazed by the moment. It's like he is been doing this for a number of years already. A nineteen-year-old rookie does not look like this. This is just rare what you are seeing."


LaMelo Ball shows the world that he has the potential to be one of the best guards in the NBA with the kind of performance he put in his first 10 NBA games.
