Los Angeles and Portland Trail Blazers is a matchup between one of the best backcourt and two of the best player in the NBA. In the first game Lakers' big players have no answer to Portland's backcourt. In the fourth quarter, Damian Lillard, Melo, and Gary Trent Jr. 3-pointers took away a game from the Lakers. LeBron achieved some feat in this game but it all in vain as they lost a game.


First Quarter 


Portland Trail Blazers was blazing hot in the first quarter as they got 16 points lead in the first quarter. 6:58 to go Nurkic scored a bucket and drew a foul. 3 points play from Nurkic gave 7 points lead to Portland. 3:35 remaining, Portland got 11 points lead on Damian Lillard's 3 points play. 3:05 to go, Lillard knocked down another 3-pointer which gave 13 points lead. 2:11 to go in the quarter, Nurkic finished with a dunk and Portland got game-high 16 points lead over Lakers. Portland ends the first quarter with 11 points lead.  


 Second Quarter 


LeBron James made 3wonderful passes to his teammates on their scoring. 8:27 minutes to go, Lakers cut a 14 points lead to only 2 points with Howard's dunk on LeBron James' assist. Before this Danny Green and Morris, both scored 3-pointer on LeBron James assists. 7:24 left, Howard got offensive rebound and scored to cut a lead to 3 points. 


6:04 minutes to go, Dwight Howard got 4th foul of the game. Just under six minutes to go in the quarter, the game stopped to reposition a bucket board. 4:56 to go, Damian Lillard knocked down 3-pointer to gave 6 points lead to Portland. 4:20 left, What a set up by Lebron James to Davis, Davis made 2-pointer to cut a lead to 2 points. Anthony Davis' 2 free throws reduce a lead to only one point. 3:06 remaining in the quarter, Once again what a pass by LeBron James, No look pass to Anthony Davis where Davis finished with a dunk to give a lead to Lakers. 56 seconds to go, Carmelo made 3-pointer which gave 3 points lead to Blazers.

Anthony Davis scored 21 points, LeBron James finished the first half with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists. 


Damian Lillard continues his form as he scored 23 points, Nurkic scored 14 points with 12 rebounds, Carmelo Anthony added 8 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists in the First Half for Portland Trail Blazers. 


Third Quarter


Portland took early 5 points lead in the quarter. Damian Lillard drew a foul on Danny Green as he went to the free-throw line. Damian scored both free-throws, 6 points lead for Portland. Under 3 minuted to go Portland had 5 points lead in the game. 1:44 to go, portland got 7 points lead in a game. 


Fourth Quarter 

Kyle Kuzma was there for Lakers in the fourth quarter, He helped his team to take a lead of 6 points when 8:03 left in the quarter. Lakers made 11-0 run in the first 34 minutes of the fourth quarter. 

7:35 to go, Damian Lillard's 3-pointer helped portland to cut a lead within 3 points but Lebron James took it back with 3-pointer. CJ McCollum's 3-pointer cut a lead to 3 points and Damian Lillard's long 3-pointer tied a game at 8-87. McCollum's one footer jumper gave a lead to Portland when just over 5 minutes remaining in the quarter.  




4:39 to go Anthony Davis missed both free throws to tie a game. LeBron James also missed both free throws. Lakers gave away easy 4 points. Danny Green scored a bucket when 3:40 to go in the quarter to tie a game. 3:1 to go, once again Damian Lillard knocked down long 3-pointer, 3 points lead for the Portland. 2:31 to go Carmelo Anthony scored from the long-range to give 6 points lead to the Portland. 1:34 to go, Anthony Davis finished with 2 hands to cut a lead within 2 points. Portland made 17-6 run to take 7 points lead in the game. Portland defeated Lakers 100-93. 


Lakers had 5 points lead when just over 7 minutes to go but they blew a lead but Damian Lillard made some crazy 3-pointer which took away the game from the Lakers.


Lakers made only 20 free throws out of 31. Lakers were also very bad from the Long-range, They made only 5 3-pointer out of 32 compared to Portland's 13 out of 34. Lakers made 5 3-pointer with 3 point percentage of 15.6%. Now Portland Trail Blazers took a lead in the series. Lakers badly missed Avery Bradley and Rondo in this game as they failed to guard Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum at the crucial moment of the game.

Lakers Scorer


LeBron James scored 23 points with 17 rebounds and 15 assists. LeBron James scored 24th career triple-double and registered playoff career-high assists. He is the first player to scored 20+ points with 15+ assists and 15+ rebounds. Anthony Davis scored 28 points with 9 rebounds. Kuzma scored 14 points with 8 rebounds and Danny Green scored 10 points.   


Portland Scorer 


Once again Damian Lillard had a great game as he scored 34 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Nurkic scored 16 points with 15 rebounds. Melo added 11 points with 10 rebounds, 5 assists, one steal, and 1 block. Hassan Whiteside had scored only 7 points in a game but he blocked a shot 5 times with 8 rebounds. 

Clippers take 1-0 lead in the series. Luka scored 42 points in a game on his playoff debut.

Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks, This is a matchup between one offensive team and others have both offense and defense. This match became exciting as expected. Luka played great in this game. Luka Doncic scored 42 points with 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals but there are 11 turnovers in the game for Luka Doncic. 


First Quarter


Porzingis ejected from the game with 2 technical fouls when Mavericks needed his help the most. Just under two minutes played in a game Kawhi's 3-pointer gave 10-0 lead to Clippers. 8:28 minutes to go, Clippers took 16 points lead in a game with Morris' 3-pointer. 4:08 minutes remaining in the quarter, Curry's 3-pointer tied a game for Mavericks at 22-22. Mavericks made 20-4 run to tied a game. 2:22 minutes to go Mavericks took first lead in a game with 3-pointer, Once they were 16 points behind in a game. Doncic nailed a 3-pointer for Mavericks at the last seconds of the quarter to give 4 points lead to Mavericks. What a turn around by Mavericks. Mavericks made 7 of 11 from 3-point range in the quarter.


Second Quarter 


7:29 minuted to go in the quarter Burke's layup gave 14 points lead to Mavericks. The biggest lead for the Mavericks in a game. Now Leonard's elbow Jumper stopped the 12-0 run of Mavericks. 4:39 remaining, Paul George's tough layup against Porzingis cut a lead to only 2 points. 2:50 to go, Morris knocked down a jumper to tied a game at 57-57, Clippers made 21-7 run in last 4:15 minutes.   


Third Quarter 


Just over 9 minutes to go, Doncic made 2 points play which gave 5 points lead to the Mavericks. 9:06 minutes remaining, Porzingis ejected from a game, and from here game turned around for the Mavericks. Morris' jab step jumper tied a game for the Clippers when 7:26 minutes left at 73-73. Zubac dunk gave 2 points lead to Clipper in the quarter. 4 minutes left, Kawhi Leonard's jumper gave 6 points lead to the Clippers.     


Fourth Quarter 


10:33 left, sweet move from Paul George gave 5 points lead to Clippers. 9:44 left Tim Hardaway Jr. nailed a 3-pointer that tied a game at 89-89. 4:26 to go, Leonard drove towards the rim and he was well-defended but he was too good to score a bucket, 5 points lead to Clippers. Patrick Beverley made 3-pointer which was dished by Paul George to give 6 points lead to Clippers. Morris knocked down 3-pointer to end the hope of Mavericks to win a game with 7 points lead. 42.6 seconds to go, Paul George with a step-back 3 gave 8 points lead. Clippers won the first Game with 118-110.


Kawhi Leonard scored 29 points with 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Paul George made 27 points with 2 steals, Morris scored 19 points with 6 rebounds and 4 steals, Williams added 14 points and Zubac scored 10 points with 10 rebounds.   


For Mavericks, Tim Hardaway Jr scored 18 points with 6 rebounds. Seth Curry added 14 points. Porzingis scored 14 points before he was ejected from the game. 


Luka made a record in this game with scoring 42 points most by any player on his playoff debut. Dallas is a young team and they have to learn a lot from this game. How to play against an elite team in the playoffs? Offensive rebounds are the factor where Clippers won a game. offensive rebounds mean it gives you a second chance to score on the same possession. This was not called a one-sided victory for Clippers.

Celtics have very good players. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are top talents in the NBA. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown made their mark in the game against Philadelphia 76ers. Jayson Tatum had a great night with 32 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 blocks. This is Jayson Tatum's playoff career-high points. Jaylen Brown added 29 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.      


There was no Ben Simmons in 76ers line up due to knee surgery. Joel Embiid tied his best but he was unable to give his team a victory. He scored 12 points in the first quarter with making 5 shots out of 5, but after this Celtics made a move to stop him and they tried to double team Embiid and this plan became successful. Joel Embiid scored 26 points with 16 rebounds and 1 assist. He got only 15 shots in a game. 


Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker scored 80 points combine in a game with a shooting percentage of 49.1 % which called a great number for any team. Kemba scored 19 points, 1 rebound, and 5 assists. Gordon Hayword injured himself in a game. Jayson Tatum and Jaylon Brown are the first pair for Boston Celtics who scored more than 25 points in the same playoff game and both are 23 years old or younger.

The absence of Ben Simmons hurt 76ers in a game. Boston Celtics is a small line up team and 76ers is a team with big players means they have an upper hand but Celtics did a wonderful job guarding Embiid with a double team. If Simmons was there he will be helpful for 76ers but now the team has to depend on Embiied and Harris. Horford is not playing at the same level as when he was in Boston Celtics. He needs to step up for 76ers if they want to win. 


Horford scored only 6 points in a game with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Richarson and Burks scored 18 points. Tobias Harris scored 15 points with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Milton scored 13 points. 5 players scored in double-figures in a game but it was no good to help 76ers. They are playing good basketball but they need something to win this kind of game. 


76ers turned a ball 18 times in a game compared to Celtics' 7 turnovers. Celtics stole a ball 12 times in a game while 76ers was able to do that only 5 times. These are the 2 points where 76ers lost a game.

Los Angles Lakers seats at the top of the West and Portland Trail Blazers at the bottom of the table in playoffs standing. After the performance of Damian Lillard and Portland Trail Blazers in the Bubble Environment, everyone has changed their point of view Lakers will win this series with domination or even many think Portland Trail Blazers have better chance to win this series.

LeBron James :


There are two sides of LeBron James when it comes to playing in the NBA. One is playing in the regular season and playing in playoffs. In the regular season, he mostly tries to put the offense in his game but in the regular season in the postseason, he does everything in his game. He gave his all. Now it's more to take care of him for the opposition team because he has one of the best feats with him Anthony Davis and supporting casts like Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, McGee, and Dwight Howard. All Lakers players are playing very well with him especially Alex Caruso. Selected for the top 3 MVP candidates. This is the first time LeBron James become assist leader in the league with 10.2 assists per game. 


Anthony Davis :


A big who can guard any position at a high level. For Big, it's impossible to guard point guard but despite being big Anthony guard point guard. He is one of the best rim protectors in the NBA. He selected in the top 3 defensive player awards for the regular season.  


Supporting Cast :


They have a better supporting cast who are once elite in this game. Kely Kuzma and Danny Green will be crucial for Los Angeles Lakers to win this series and Championship. Alex Caruso is also there with them. McGee and Howard are also best at protecting a rim. It's hard for any opposition player to score at the rim against them. 


Weakness :


Not consistent at a high level in every game. In some games, they play great basketball but in some, they look alike bottom team in the league. Kyle Kuzma's potential is always a key factor for Los Angeles Lakers but he didn't show his full potential in the regular season. Kuzma needs to be the third guy in the team after LeBron and Anthony Davis. They are not good when they play against a team which has a very good big man or center.

Two Point Guard Players, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum :


They have a two-point guard player and one of them is one of the top 3 point guards in the league. Damian Lillard scored 37.6 PPG, 9.6 assists, and 4.3 rebounds with a shooting percentage in FG are 49.7%, 3 point shooting percentage is 43.6%. CJ McCollum played with his injured back. He played a great game against Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in series.



Big Man Nurkic and Carmelo Anthony :


Nurkic playing too good in this bubble environment he scored 20+ points and 20+ rebounds double-double against Memphis Grizzlies. Anthony is one of the top scorers of all time in the NBA and he can contribute to the team from his experience. He is now playing as a third guy for Portland. 


Weakness :


Portland doesn't have a great supporting cast. they don't have much defense in their team who can guard LeBron and Anthony Davis. Lakers have a better bench than Portland Trail Blazers.      


Who will win? Lakers 80% chances, Portland 20% chances


Lakers have more talent than Portland. They have a deep bench when Portland doesn't have as good as Lakers bench. Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Nurkic, and Carmelo continue their form against Los Angeles Lakers which they have shown in Bubble than they have some chances to win against Lakers. Lakers have a higher chance to win this series because of their strong lineup.

It's a story of telling, not having any chances to make into the playoffs before resuming the NBA and how they made it to the playoffs. Damian Lillard is the MVP of this Bubble environment play. In this game, He scored 31 points with 10 assists but CJ McCollum and Carmelo Anthony were the ones who took away a game from the Memphis Grizzlies. 


Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points and CJ McCollum made 29 points. Nurkic is the scored 22 points with 21 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks which is a huge number for any player in a game. 


In the fourth quarter just under 2 minutes to play in a game, CJ McCollum hit a 3-pointer when they have an only one-point lead. Portland Trail Blazers took 4 points lead. 1:21 minutes to go, CJ McCollum, made a jumper on Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant. This play of CJ McCollum gave 6 points lead to Portland. 20.2 seconds left in the game, Once again Carmelo Anthony made a huge 3-pointer on Damian Lillard pass and clutch 2 free-throws which took away a game from Memphis Grizzlies. Everyone thought that Anthony's NBA career is over before joining Portland now he is playing like a top player in the league. 


 

Memphis Grizzlies had the best chance to secure a playoff spot but they lost 7 games after resuming of NBA season and won only 2 games which cost them a playoff spot. Rookie Ja Morant was good in this game against Portland but He scored 35 points with 4 rebounds and 8 assists but couldn't help his team to stay in play-in series. Jonas added 22 points with 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Brook and Clarke both scored 20 points.  


Now Portland Trail Blazers will face number one seeded team Los Angeles Lakers. After this performance from Damian Lillard and his team, It looks like Los Angeles Lakers, not the Heavy Favourite to win a title.  


MS Dhoni is India's most successful captain who won all ICC Trophies for India.

MS Dhoni, A man who gives many things to Cricket of India. In the leadership of Dhoni India won first ever T20 World Cup and one-day cricket world up in 2011. Dhoni is the only Indian Captian who won all ICC tournaments. Dhoni already retired from Test Cricket in 2014 and now he made the decision to retire from all format of International Cricket.


MS Dhoni scored 10773 runs in 350 games with an average of 50.6 (Highest score- 183) in ODI format, In Test Format, He scored 4875 runs in 90 games in 144 innings with the average of 38.1( Highest score - 224 ) and  In T-20 format he scored 1617 runs in 98 matches with the average of 37.6 ( Highest score- 56).

The Great Sachin Tendulkar tweeted this on Dhoni's retirement : 

Dhoni made an Instagram post, " Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929hrs consider me as retired."


India achieved so many things under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. The first trophy India won under his captaincy was the T20 world cup in 2007 in Africa against Pakistan. After that India never looked back in cricket. India won Champions Trophy in 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. India was the top-ranked side in Test from December 2009 to June 2011. India also won the CB Tri-series in Australia which was always looking impossible for India. He took the crown of the best captain of the test from Saurav Ganguly when he registered 22nd win with India in Test. 


His most important achievement was the 2011 one day cricket world cup. There were many players who gave their best to win a world cup for India like Yuvaraj, Gambhir, and The Great Sachin Tendulkar, Zahir Khan, and other bowlers but the MS Dhoni was the one who finished a final with his trademark helicopter shot hitting six. India enjoyed this moment as a festival. This shows what is the meaning of this achievement.


Dhoni is not only India's most successful captain and one of the top batsman but he is the top 3 wicketkeeper of all time. He comes on the third number with 829 dismissals in all format of cricket behind March Boucher(998) and Adam Gilchrist(905)


MS Dhoni played his last one day game against New Zeland in the world cup semi-final where India lost to New Zeland. Dhoni made his debut in 2004 against Bangladesh at the age of 23 in Indian Jersey. Dhoni's name came on everyone's mouth when he scored 148 runs against Pakistan which was his first ton in International cricket. 


MS Dhoni is known for his coolness and composer in a game when he was taking any decision. MS Dhoni shows every sports fan in the world that how a small-town boy can become a leader of a big team with his leadership quality, hard work, dedication, decision-making abilities in any situation and composure. These abilities put him today where he is now and put him in a different category than other players.     


It's impossible for India to ever get a player like him. There will be always impossible to fill a hole with is left by Dhoni. 


Now He is the captain of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings and he will lead his team in IPL which will take place in UAE.

    

Bayern Munich's outstanding performance put Barcelona in the dust.

Barcelona was humiliated by Bayern Munich at UCL with the 8-2 victory of Bayern at UCL. Bayern already favorites to win this game but not in this way with a team like Barcelona and players like Messi and Saurez.


3 minutes, Goal- Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich, Thomas Muller passed a ball to the Lewandowski and he passed a ball back to Muller. Muller finished with his left-footed shot in the right corner of the Barcelona net. No one was there to guard Thomas Muller.


7 minutes, Goal- Devid Alaba(OG), Barcelona, Alba tried to pass a ball to Saurez who was coming into the penalty area of Bayern but a ball was intercepted by Alaba who tried to clear a ball but it a ball went into the net of Bayern and OG for Bayern. it was an awful moment for David Alaba. Neuer had no chance at all to stop the ball going in a net. he just deflected it. 


9 minutes, Saurez had a chance to take a lead when he was one on one with Neuer he just has to flick a ball but he missed it because a good save made by Neuer.


10 minutes, Lionel Messi curve cross-shot just hit the post but before that Sergio had a chance to put that curve pass into a net but he missed it. What an opportunity missed by Barcelona.


21 minutes, Goal- Perisic, Bayern Munich, Gnabry took a ball to the Barca penalty area from the center of the field and passed a ball to Perisic who scored a goal with a left-footed shot. There was no one to guard him.

26 minutes, Messi with the good ball in on Barcelona player's header who missed a post by just a margin.

 

27 minutes, Goal- Serge Gnabry, Bayern Munich, another sloppy play by Barcelona in a defense. Goretzka made a lob pass to Lenglet who passed a ball to Gnabry. Gnabry took a ball and shot a ball with a lot of power. There was no chance for Ter Stegen.


29 minutes, Lewandowski had a great and easy chance to score but he missed a golden opportunity to extend their lead. A ball touched  Ter Stegen's right foot and deflected.


31 minutes, Goal-Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich, Kimmich passed a ball towards Muller who was in Barca's penalty area who put a ball with just a touch of his right foot.   


First Half: Bayern Munich 4 - Barcelona 1


In the First half, It was total domination by Bayern. They got many chances and made many attacks on Barca defends. Barcelona's defense was awful in the first half of the Game. Barcelona also got some chances to score a goal but they failed to do it.


57 minutes, Goal- Barcelona, Luis Suarez, There was Boateng to stop Suarez but Suarez flicked a ball and past Botend and then scored a clinical goal with his left foot. A masterclass goal by Luis Suarez. 


63 minutes, Goal- Kimmich, Bayern Munich, What a brilliant play by Alphonso Davis. he passed nearly half the Barcelona team and passed a ball to Kimmich who just had to put a ball into the net. An absolutely brilliant play made by this talented teenager named Alphonso Davis. 


68 minutes, Another sloppy play by Barcelona. Thomas Muller was in the post are and he put a ball near the penalty spot and there were no Barcelona players to stop a shot of Kingsley but his shot was barely deflected by Jordi Alba who intercepted a shot.


82 minutes, Goal- Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski registered his name on scoring shit. Lewandowski headed a ball into a net in which a passed is made by Semedo. 54 goals for Robert in this remarkable season. 


86 minutes, Goal- Philippe Coutinho, Bayern Munich, It was a bad night for Barca in the defense. it looked like they are doing defense in sleep. Coutinho put a ball into a net with 2nd touch on the ball between the legs of Pique.


89 minutes, Goal-Philippe Coutinho, Bayern Munich, Another Goal For Coutinho against his former club, and devastating loss for Barcelona. Coutinho came off the bench and scored 2 goals within 4 minutes. 


Now This season is called the worst season for Barcelona as they lost  La Liga's title where they were favorite to win the title before the resume of La Liga. Now in UEFA Champion League, They are out of it with a humiliating and embarrassing loss to Bayern.


Now Bayer Munich is in Top 4 in UCL and they have now big chance to win a treble this season. They tell the football world that no one can stop them after crushing victory over Barcelona. Whenever Barcelona faces Bayern Munich Always have an upper hand mentally. 


In this game, it looks like there is no Messi in a game and Barcelona's defense getting older. They had no chance against Bayern Munich's offense who scored so many goals this season. This is the first time Barcelona conceded four goals in the first half for the first time ever and Thomas Muller is the only player to score 6 goals against Barcelona at UCL.
