After the last games buzzer-beater defeat by Luka Doncic and Dallas Mavericks, Clippers came back very strong as they dominated Dallas in the 5th game of a series with a 43 points blow out victory 154-111. Now Clippers takes 3-2 lead in a series. 


Kawhi Leonard registered another game with 30+ points, now he matched his record for four straight games with 30+ points, This is the longest streak of his career of 30+ points.


Porzingis missed this game due to the right knee soreness. Doncic looked like his 50% in a game. He was not giving his 100% in a game. 


First Quarter


Dallas started the first quarter with a 3 pointer. 8:28 remaining in the quarter, Kleber's 3-pointer gave 7 points lead to Dallas Mavericks. After that the Los Angeles Clippers made 19-0 run in the last 3:42 minutes of the game. 3:39 to go in the quarter Clippers made their last 11 FG attempts.  Los Angeles Lakers made 32-6 run in the last 8 and half minutes of the quarter which gave Clippers 19 points lead in the quarter. 


Second Quarter 


Reggie Jackson fired a 3-pointer for Clippers which gave them a 22 points lead. 5:32 remaining in the quarter, Harrel blocked Luka Doncic's shot. Clippers made 9-0 run before 4:21 minutes to go in the quarter. which gave Clippers a lead of 27 points. 


First Half: Los Angeles Clippers 76 - Dallas Mavericks 52


Leonard scored 22 points with 64.3 FG% and Paul George added 18 points with 66.7FG% in the first half.


Third Quarter 


Paul George and Kawhi Leonard scored the first 2 buckets for Clippers in the third quarter and took a lead of 29 points. 8:55 to go in the quarter, Shamet made a 3-pointer which gave 30 points lead to Clippers. Clippers maintained a lead of 20+ points in a quarter. After the end of third-quarter Clippers took a lead of 25 points.  Dallas coach Rick was ejected in the third quarter. 



Fourth Quarter


Dallas has no chance coming back into a game with 25 points deficit in a game. Clippers outscored Dallas 43-25 in the fourth quarter of the game. 9:35 to go in a quarter, A highlight play by Harrel and George, Paul George dished to Harrel and Harrel finished with a two-handed jam with a jump. 3:minutes to go in the quarter, Patterson made 3-pointer which gave 40 points lead in the game. Clippers won a game with the largest lead of the series.

Paul George regained his form and scored 35 points with 66.7 field goal percentage. Kawhi again super in a game as he scored 32 points with 7 rebounds, 4 assists. Harrell added 19 points with 11  rebounds. Morris made 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in a game.  Jackson scored 11 points with 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Shamet also scored 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. 


Dallas Mavericks' Scorers 


Luka dropped 22 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Kleber scored 12 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist. Burke made 15 points, Tim Hardaway Jr scored 19 points and Wright scored 11 points in a game.

It's only the first game in which Bucks got any difficulties against Orlando Magic. After It, Milwaukee Bucks played like the top team of the East. Milwaukee Buck gave a 121-106 defeat to Orlando Magic and took 3-1 lead and only one game away from making into the semifinals of Eastern Conference. 


Nikola Vucevic had anther great game where he scored 31 points with 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Giannis led Bucks by putting a number of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists. 


Kris Middleton scored 18 points in the fourth quarter alone from his 21 points in a game. Giannis scored 24 points in the paint and Orlando Magic scored 20 points in the paint. Giannis scored more points in the paint than Orlando.


Matthews made a 3-pointer at the second quarter Buzzer Beater which gave 6 points lead to Bucks. 10:28 to go in the 3rd, Giannis Bucket gave 9 points lead for Bucks. 7:40 to go in the 3rd, Fultz 3-pointer gave the first lead to Orlando in the 3rd quarter. Orlando made 12-2 run.   


10:37 remaining in the 4th quarter, Middleton scored a 3-pointer on Giannis' dimes. Bucks got 11 points lead in the 4th quarter. Bucks made 18-2 run in the first 4 minutes of the 4th quarter to get 19 points lead in a game. Orlando once cut 19 points lead to 7 points in the game.  



Giannis becomes the first player in NBA history to score at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the first 4 straight games of playoffs.


 


Milwaukee Bucks' Scorers 


Giannis dropped 31 points with 15 points and 8 rebounds. It looks like Khris Middleton regaining his form for Milwaukee as he scored 21 points with 10 rebounds and 3 assists with 3 points shooting percentage of 57.1%. Lopez and Korver were on the scoring sheet with 10 points each. Matthews made 12 points and Hill added 9 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists for Bucks in a game. 


Orlando Magic's Scorers


Vucevic added 31 points with 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Fournier scored 12 points with 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Clark also scored 12 points. Ross scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist coming off the bench. Fultz added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for Milwaukee Bucks in a game. 


Miami Heats makes it into the Semifinals of Eastern Conference.

Now Miami Heat made it into the next round by sweeping Indiana Pacers 4-0. Miami Heat made many records in this series. First, they made 18 3-pointers in 2nd game which is Miami Heat's franchise record in a playoff. They scored  124 points with 43 free throws and in this game, They grabbed 60 rebounds. 


Goran Dragic is making history with Heat. He made 20+ points in 22 consecutive playoff games for Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler suffered a shoulder injury and missed most of the first half but he returned in a game. Kelly Olynyk was played a huge role in Heat's victory. He scored 9 points in the second quarter with +15 in 16 minutes of play in a game. Dragic scored 13 of his 23 points in the last quarter of the game.



Miami Heat's Scorer 


Bam Adebayo was great on the Board, He grabbed 19 rebounds and scored 14 points with 6 rebounds. Dragic made 23 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Herro added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Olynyk was superb in a game with 11 points, 8 boards, and 2 dimes. Crowder finished a game with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Butler was able to score only 6 points in a game due to his shoulder injury.


Indiana Pacers' Scorers  


Victor Oladipo led Pacers by scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Warren made 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Turner added 22 points with 14 rebounds. Brogdon scored 13 points with 4 rebounds and 7 assists.

Oklahoma City makes a comeback in a series against Houston Rockets by winning back to back games. Once again Dennis Schroder led his team with 30 points coming off the bench. Schroder, Chris Paul, and Alexander led OKC to 117-114 victory.  


James Harden passed Kobe Bryant on the all-time playoff 3's list. Oklahoma City is a 3-guard's team and they have big like Adams who can be very important against Houston Rockets.  


First Half


7 minutes to go in the second quarter Houston Rockets got 6 points lead in the game. Alexander's 5 points cut 6 points lead of Houston Rockets to 1 point. 1:30 to go Ferguson stole a ball from James Harden and Chris Paul scored on that turn over to tie a game at 58-58.  33 seconds to go in the second quarter, Harden took a ball from Chris Paul and he finished with a dunk on that seal. Both teams scored 60 points after the first half. 


Second Half


Third Quarter 


9:41 to go in the third quarter, Houston Rockets made 4 triple in the starting 3 minutes of the third quarter which gave Houston Rockets lead of 6 points. 7:19 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, Gordon's stepback 3-pointer gave 11 points lead to Houston Rockets. 6:15 minutes to go in 3rd, Rockets made 8 out of 8 3-pointers in the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter. After House 3-pointer Rockets got 15 points lead in a game. Rockets made 14-2 run in the last 3:19 minutes when 6:15 remaining in the quarter.   


Before Bazley made his 3-pointer for OKC, OKC missed 12 shots from that range. 1:32 to go in the quarter, Chris Paul flipped up a ball into a bucket and drew a foul. Shroder ended a quarter with a  bang. Schroder made a last-second 3-pointer to cut a lead to one point. Houston Rockets blew out 15 points lead to only one. Oklahoma City Thunder made 19-5 run in the last minutes of the quarter.


 

Fourth Quarter 


1:31 minutes to go, Chris Paul made a jumper on James Harden to give 1 point lead at the clutch moment of a game. 35 seconds to go in the game, Shroder spun, drove and made a flip to put a ball into a bucket to give 3 points lead to OKC. 28 seconds to go, James harden passed a ball to Tucket who missed a shot from his favorite position to score a 3-pointer and missed a chance to tie a game. 


Dennis Schroder after a game," We're just gonna stay humble in victory and just keep chippin' away, Game 5 is gonna be a big one. Just gotta come out ready."



Oklahoma City Thunder's Scorers


Chris Paul dropped 26 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Dennis Schroder added 30 points with 3 boards. Alexander also was good in a game with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists. Adams made 12 points and 8 rebounds. Dort and Gallinari each scored 9 points.


Houston Rockets' Scorers 


James Harden led Houston Rockets in scoring with 32 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists. He Nearly scored a triple-double in a game. Out of 8 players who played in a game 6 players scored in a double-figure for Rockets. Eric Gordon helped James Harden with 23 points. House had a big game as he added 21 points with 6 rebounds. Tucker made 11 points, 11 rebounds. Covington made 14 points with 6 rebounds. Jeff Green scored 10 points in a game with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Lakers take a 3-1 lead in a series against Portland Trail Blazers after dominating victory over them in the fourth game of a series. Lakers won a game 135-115.   


Los Angeles Lakers made 17 3-pointer in a game which is a playoff record by Los Angeles Lakers. Lakers were superb in a game with 56.3% of shooting and also they are too good from the defense. This is a very special day for the Lakers in the memory of  Kobe Bryant. This game held on August, 24. This means 8 numbers and 24 numbers which are both were by Kobe Bryant. Lakers come out on the court with a new uniform.  


JR Smith tied Kobe Bryant on the all-time list for playoff 3's made. Lakers players wore the Black Mamba City Edition Jersey with the heart number 2 written on it, it is the number Gianna once wore. 


It was a bad game for Portland as they lost a game with a big margin and their star player Damian Lillard left a game in the third quarter due to the right knee injury. 


First Quarter


Lakers' started a game with 15-0 run in the first four minutes of a game. Kuzma's 3-pointer gave Lakers 20 points lead when 3:40 to go in the quarter. 2:01 to go in the quarter Hassan Whiteside picked up flagrant foul when he hit Anthony Davis his elbow. 1:46 to go, LeBron James 2 free-throws gave 24 points lead to Lakers but Damian replied with 3-pointer. Lakers go 18 points lead in the first quarter. Lakers made 15-0 run in last 4 minutes


Anthony Davis had a huge first quarter in the game, He scored 16 points with 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Caldwell-Pope also there with a double-figure in the first quarter with 10 points. LeBron James added 8 points with 2 rebounds and 3 assists.


Second Quarter 


11:18 to go in the quarter, LeBron blocked a shot and on the other side, Kuzma drained a 3-pointer on LeBron James assist. 8:36 to go in a quarter, Nurkic's two free throws cut a lead to 17 points. Lakers made 8-0 run. 6:38 to go, Melo scored on LeBron James. 4:20 to go, Damian Lillard, made 3- pointer. 2:55 to go in the quarter, Danny Green banged an open 3-pointer.     


1:40 to go in the quarter, Caruso's 3-pointer gave 27 points lead on LeBron's assist. LeBron James' 3- pointer gave 30 points but Portland replied Trent Jr.'s 3-pointer. LeBron James all the way in finish second quarter. Laker's got a huge 29 points lead in the first half.

LeBron James scored 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists. Anthony Davis put a huge number in the first half with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists. Caldwell-Pope added 10 points and Danny Green scored 9 points. 


Nurkic added 15 points with 8 rebounds, CJ McCollum and Anthony Davis both scored 8 points. Damian Lillard scored 9 points with 4 rebounds in the first half. 


Lakers made 11 3-pointer in the first half and Portland was able to score only 3 3-pointer in the first. defensively Lakers were too good in the first half.



Third Quarter 


11:12 to go McGee scored by grabbing offensive rebound from a missed shot of Caldwell-Pope.10:36 to go, LeBron James scored on Anthony Davis' missed shot which gave 31 points lead to Lakers. 9:21 to go, LeBron James drained 36 footer 3-pointer which gave a lead of 38 points to Lakers. 8:55 to go, McGee blocked a shot of Carmelo Anthony. 


6:40 to go, CJ McCollum drained a 3-pointer with a foul to 4 points play which cut a lead to 22 points for Portland Trail Blazers.  Third Quarter score: Lakers 112 - Portland 87.



Fourth Quarter 


Lakers bench players got a chance to play in the fourth quarter. Hezonja scored 3-pointer to give 100 points mark in a game to Portland TrailBlazer. Lakers dominated Portland from staring at the game to the end of the game. Portland had no chance in a game to come back. The blow out victory for Lakers 135-115.


Los Angeles Lakers' Scorers


LeBron James finished a game with 30 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, and 1 blocks by making 10 shots out of 12 with a shooting percentage of 83.33% in 28 minutes.  Anthony Davis scored  18 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists. in 18 minutes of a game, He played only 18 minutes due to back spasms. Kyle Kuzma scored 18 points by hitting 5 3-pointers. Howard added 13 points with 8 rebounds. Green was on a scoreboard with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist. Lakers blocked a ball 9 times in a game, Anthony Davis and McGee were the main reason behind these blocks.



Portland Trail Blazers' Scorers


Damian Lillard scored only 11 points in a game before he left a game due to knee injury. CJ McCollum dropped 18 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Whiteside and Hezonja each scored 11 points. Trent Jr. added 13 points, Nurkic was a top-scorer for Portland as he scored 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Carmelo Anthony made 16 points with 2 rebounds. Gabrial scored 10 points. 8 players scored in double-figure for Portland Trail Blazers in a game.

Toronto Raptor is a current NBA champion and they are playing like an NBA champion in this bubble environment. They swept Brooklyn Nets after dominating victory with 150-122 with a some record involve in it. 


 Toronto Raptors bench scored 100 points for them in this game which is a record by any team to score 100 points by a bench players. 94 points are the maximum scored by bench players in regular games and 86 points in post-season.


3:08 to go in the first quarter, Kyle Lowery faced an injury and he left a court. He is Toronto Raptors best point guard but Raptors have some very good players who can play good in the absence of Lowry. 


Toronto bench players outscored Nets bench players by 55 points which was a huge margin for any team. Now Toronto Raptors will be playing against Boston Celtics who are playing too good basket ball by sweeping 76ers and now Celtics are one of the contender to win East. So Kyle Lowry has to return for Raptors in a series against Celtics. Without Kyle Lowry it will be hard for Toronto against Boston which is filled with young talents who can decide games result on their own.


Raptors gave a first sweep to any opposition team in their franchise history. Boston and Toronto both swept their opposition team means their series will be very exciting.

Norman Powell scored 29 points with 5 rebounds, Serge Ibaka scored 27 points with 15 rebounds and 2 assist, Davis made 14 points and Matt Thomas scored 12 points. All these 4 players scored 82 points combined coming off the bench and other four bench players scored 18 points in a game and they made a total of 100 points which is a record made by Toronto Raptors bench players.


Siakam scored 20 points with 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Anunoby made 10 points with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Gasol and VanVleet each scored 9 points. Kyle Lowry scored only 2 points game before he left a game due to an injury.


Brooklyn Nets' Scorers

Once again Donovan Mitchel hits a mark of 50+ points in a game. This is his second 50+ game in this series as He scored 51 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and made 17 free throws out of 18 to give victory over Nuggets and took a commanding lead of 3 games to 1 in a series. Donovan Mitchel is now on a par with Michael Jordan Wilt Chamberlain and Iverson who scored two 50 points game in a series.   


Jamal Murray was also outstanding in a game with scored 50 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and a block. This was called a historic duel for any game. This is the first time in playoff history two players from the opposing team scored 50 points in the same game according to ESPN. This is Murray's career-high score. Murray made 9 3-pointer with a 3-point shooting percentage of 58.1%. Murray's 50 points are Denver Nugget's postseason record. 


Mitchel is doing great in this series. He is averaging 39.5 PPG, 5.8 APG with 56.4% shooting from the field, 95.5% from the free-throw line, and 51.4% from the three-point range. This number is too good for any player with this kind of efficiency. In the first game, Mitchel scored 57 points but he couldn't help his team to give victory in OT game.  



At the starting of the second quarter, Denver Nuggets took lead of 7 points in a game. 10:40 to go in the second quarter, Murray scored off the glass and drew a foul to give 8 points to Denver. After the first half Denver took a one-point lead in a game. 


A beautiful set up by Mike to Rudy Gobert with an alley-oop pass to lead it to dunk which tied a game at 73-73. Both teams competing with each other giving their best and giving an answer to each other's buckets. Utah Jazz got 11 points lead at the starting of the 4th quarter. 4:47 to go in the 4th quarter, Murray's 3-pointer made Denver's score 108 and cut a lead to 1 point from 11 points lead in the fourth quarter. Murray scored 21 points in the fourth quarter.    


57 seconds to go in the game, Mitchel made the biggest shot of a game, Mitchel had Millsap on him but he finished with a pull up 3 to give 4 points lead to Utah Jazz. Murray made last-second pullup 3 but it wasn't enough and Utah won a game by 129-127. 


Utah Jazz's Scorer: 


Jordan Clarkson is playing very well for this Utah Jazz team from coming off the bench. He scored 24 points with 3 rebounds. Conley gave support to Mitchel with 2 points. Gobert added 17 points with 11 rebounds.  


Denver Nuggets Scorer:  


Jokic put a number of 29 points with 7 rebounds and 6 assists in a game. Millsap added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jerami Grant scored 12 points.

Boston Celtics advance into the next round of the playoffs. Boston Celtics competed first-round series sweep over Philadelphia with a win in the fourth game of first-round of playoffs.


This is the first time Philadelphia 76ers was swept by any team since 1989. Boston Celtics also registered their first series sweep over Philadelphia 76ers in their 15 playoff series.    


Ben Simmons' absence for Philadelphia gave them a huge hole. He is a points guard and the point guard's position is very important in the team. He is not a good shooter but he can guard any guards in the league and he is a very good player in the post and a very good passer. If he played in this series, A result would be different.


Joel Embiid did his best in this series and in this game, He scored 30 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in this game but it wasn't enough to give a win. But in team sports, one man alone can't do for a team on his own. There are other players who need to step up for the team for team's success. 


Boston Celtics are the example of teamwork. In a series, all players supported each other with their abilities for Boston. In some games, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown did their best and other players gave them support and in some games, Kemba shines just like today's game and he got support from other players. It is always hard to win a title while depending on one player. That is why Joel Embiid and Philadelphia swept by Boston Celtics.  


2:40 to go in the 3rd quarter, Harris faced a scary injury and it was a huge blow for 76ers. Last seconds in the third quarter, Jayson Tatum drained a deep 3 which gave 12 points lead to the Boston Celtics and from here Boston took command of a game. Boston made 12-0 run in the last 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter.    


5:12 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Tobias Harris came back in a game but it was too late to help his team.



Boston Celtics' Scorer:


Kemba Walker led Boston Celtics with 32 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jayson Tatum was once again great as he scored 28 points with 15 rebounds and 4 assists. This is Jayson Tatum's third career game with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in playoffs. Jaylen Brown scored 16 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Theis added 15 points with 4 rebounds. 


Philadelphia 76ers' Scorer: 


Al Horford added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. Tobias Harris made 20 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Josh Richardson and Milton each scored 14 points in a game. Burks scored 13 points.
