All players did their job in this game for Lakers where it is Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, Caruso, Morris or others. They did their part in a game. Meanwhile, Houston Rockets sinks when it comes to the vital moment of a series.

Quarter 1

 

Caldwell-Pop scored the first point with 3-pointer for the Lakers. James Harden scored the first point for Houston by putting LeBron James on the floor. 9:16 to go, Danny Green drained a 3-pointer. 8:56 left, LeBron James drove down the lane between the Houston Rockets' defence and finished a play with a dunk. Lakers had 11 points lead after this play. 7:18 to go, Russell Westbrook tried to score on LeBron James but LeBron James blocked a shot of Westbrook. Quarter 4


Kuzma starter a quarter with a catch and shoot 3-pointer, Lakers got 29 points lead with this play. 10:40 to go, Lakers got 30 points lead but Green knocked down a 3-pointer. Lakers maintained their 20+ lead in the fourth quarter.

It is Jayson Tatum's game with his strong performance in game 7 against Toronto Raptors. He scored 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5 assists in this game and he become the first player after basketball legend Kobe Bryant to score this kind of number in a game 7.


Boston Celtics are now emerging as a power of the East by making 3 Eastern Conference Finals in the last 4 years. Now they will face Miami Heat which is come as a dark horse in this year's playoffs and they stunned a team with the best record in this year's regular NBA season to make into the Eastern Conference Finals.

Boston Celtics made 11-0 rut to cut 7 points lead of Toronto and took 4 point lead in a quarter.  Kemba Walker made a jumper which gave 6 points lead to Boston Celtics. After half time play, Boston Celtics got 4 points lead.

Jayson Tatum started a scoring of a quarter by hitting a 3. 10:37 to go, Jaylen Brown made a 16-feet jump shot to get 9 points lead in a quarter. Toronto Raptors made an 8-0 run when 5:37 left in a quarter. Both teams were nearly matched in the 3rd quarter and Toronto Raptors were able to reach within a Boston Celtics lead( Boston Celtics 72- Toronto Raptors 71)


Quarter 4


Boston Celtics started a quarter with a 7-0 run to take 8 points to lead in the starting 1 and half minutes of a quarter.  5:21 to go, Boston Celtics got 9 points lead with Jayson Tatum making a two-point shot and after that Jayson Tatum made 1 free-throws out of 2, Celtics got 10 points lead in a quarter.  Toronto Raptors had a chance to get back in a game when they made a 9-1 run to cut a lead to only 2 points but after this Boston Celtics didn't give them any chance. Boston Celtics won a game with 92-87.

Los Angeles Lakers played like what we expected from them against Houston Rockets. After losing the first game in a series they won 3 games in a raw. Now Lakers have a very good advantage in a series by taking a 3-1 lead.  


James Harden had a very bad night from the field as he made only 2 FG from 11 FG. He scored most of his points from the free-throw line. He scored 16 free-throws from 21 attempts. Anthony Davis led the Lakers in points and a win with 29 points. 6 Lakers players scored in double figures. LeBron James and Rondo nearly scored a triple-double in a game. 


Lakers got an advantage over Houston in rebounding a ball in this game. They grabbed 52 rebounds with 12 offensive rebounds compared to Houston Rockets only 26 with just 1 offensive rebound which means the Lakers never gave Houston Rockets a second chance to score points. 


Quarter 1


Lakers started scoring in a game with Danny Green made an open layup on LeBron James assist where Houston Rockets turned a ball. 9:20 to go, Play started from Anthony Davis' defense as He forced Westbrook to make a tough shot and Westbrook missed a shot. Anthony Davis Grabbed a rebound, passed a ball to LeBron who made an amazing pass to Caldwell-Pope who finished a play with the reverse layup. Lakers took the lead of 7 points after 3 and half minutes play of a game. 2:57 to go, Anthony Davis blocked a layup shot of Gordon. Kuzma finished with a dunk. 1:47 to go, Russell Westbrook slammed a rim with a dunk.

9:27 to go in the quarter, Covington made a 3 pointer of the corner which cut a lead to 3 points. 8:07 to go, Caruso intercepted a ball of Westbrook, Caruso, and Lakers players came in transition. Caruso passed a ball to Danny Green who drained a 3-pointer and extended a lead to 8 points. 7:35 to go, Lakers took 10 points to lead with Caruso's bucket. Horton-Tucker banged 3-pointer to take 11 points when 5:46 remaining in a quarter, Rookie got a playoff basket. 5:22 to go, Gordon banged a long 3-pointer to cut a lead to 8 points. 45 seconds to go, Alex Caruso made a 3-pointer on LeBron James assist which gave 15 points lead to the Lakers. 26 seconds to go, LeBron scored a bucket with a touch of glass and drew a foul. Lakers got 18 points lead after this play of a game. 3 seconds to go, Westbrook scored a bucket by challenging LeBron on that play. 


Quarter 3


10:35 remaining in a quarter, Caldwell-Pope made a 3-pointer on Danny Green's dime. 9:18 to go, Green missed a 3-pointer but Anthony Davis grabbed an offensive rebound to score, Lakers got 21 points lead in a game. 7:56 to go, LeBron James made a wonderful long pass to Anthony Davis who scored a bucket and drew a foul, Lakers had 22 points lead in a game. McLemore made a 3-pointer on James Harden assist when 7:36 remaining in a quarter. 6:47 to go, LeBron James looked like a free train when he scored a bucket all the way into the Houston Rockets' post. Lakers had 16 points lead after 3 quarters of play.  


Quarter 4


7:54 to go, Anthony Davis made a step-back jumper for 23 points lead to the Lakers. The Lakers made a 9-0 run since Green missed a 3-pointer. Houston Rockets made a 17-2 run in the last 4:46 minutes before 2:34 minutes to go in a quarter. Houston cut 23 points lead to only 8 points. Laker made only one field goal in 5 minutes when 1:52 minutes to go in the quarter. Lakers survived from Houston Rocket's run and win a game by 110 to 100.

It is one of the best games of this season's NBA playoffs. Kyle Lowry helped his team to win 2 OT thriller with 33 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and he made 6 3-pointer out of 10 in a game. This was a crazy game.   


Now Toronto Raptors playing like a defending champion despite missing key players from the last season like Leonard and Danny Green. 


Kemba Walker had a bad game he was able to score only 5 points in a game with 4 rebounds and 7 assists. He made only 2 field goals from 11 in a game with a -7 rating.

Toronto Raptors missed the last 8 3-points FG. 7:10 remaining, Boston Celtics made a 10-2 run in the last 2:33 minutes. Just under 6 minutes to go, Serge Ibaka made 3-pointer with this Toronto Raptors made only 3 3-pointer out of 15 in a game. 5:16 remaining in a quarter, Serge Ibaka banged another 3-pointer which cut a lead to 6 points for Toronto Raptors. 3:55 left in a quarter, Serge Ibaka made another 3-pointer and drew a foul for 4 points play but he missed a free-throw. Boston lead cut to 5 points. 1:40 to go, Jayson Tatum's 3-pointer gave 10 points to Boston Celtics. Toronto Raptors made an 8-0 run which cut a lead to 2 points. Both teams scored 27 points each in the second quarter.

Gasol knocked down a 3-pointer and Boston Celtics' lead cut to the only point. Marcus Smart made the 4th 3-pointer of a game for 4 points lead to the Raptors. Raptors made a 6-0 run with a help of VanVleet and took a lead of 2 points in a game. Toronto Raptors got the first lead since 1-0 in the first quarter. 6:59 to go, VanVleet knocked down a 3-pointer for the Raptors to take a lead of 5 points in a game. 6:47 to go, Toronto Raptors made a 9-0 run in 1 minute and 41 seconds. With Siakam's 3 points play Toronto Raptors took 7 points to lead in a game. 2:17 to go, Toronto Raptors got 8 points lead in a game. Toronto Raptors had 4 points lead after 3 quarters of play.  


Quarter 4


In quarter 4 Toronto Raptors maintained a lead until Jayson Tatum with a pull-up 3-point jumper gave 1 point lead to the Celtics.  Toronto Raptors took back a lead with a 3-pointer made by Kyle Lowry.  6:20 to go, Kyle Lowry fired another 3-pointer for 5 points lead in a game.  2:09 to go, A ball stripped by Smart and picked up by Daniel Theis. On the other end, Theis finished a play with a dunk on Marcus Smart's assist and tied a game at 98-98. After this play, both teams were unable to score any point and the match went into OT. Walker missed a chance to give his team a win when 3 seconds left in a quarter.  


OT 1 and OT 2


Lowry and Theis started an OT with a bucket for each team. Powell scored a 3-pointer to tie a game in a 1st OT when 2:04 left in OT 1. Powell made 2 free-throws to give 2 points lead to the Raptors. 18.9 remaining in 1st OT, Brown was fouled by Lowry that put Brown onto a free-throw line. He made both free-throws to extend a game to 2nd OT.


Jaylen Brown threw a ball to Jayson Tatum who scored a bucket with a crazy dunk. With Tatum's alley-oop pass to Theis who finished a play with a dunk for 4 points lead to the Celtics when 4:02 left in a 2nd OT. Toronto Raptors came back in a game to tie a game. 1:38 to go, Marcus Smart made a huge 3 pointer to take the lead of 3 points but Toronto Raptors replied with a 3-pointer to tie a game. 57 seconds to go, Once again Anonuby was there to get a win for the Raptors as he scored a 3-pointer and took a lead of 1 point. 42 seconds to go, Jayson Tatum was on a drive to score a bucket but Powell stripped a ball from his hand. He scored a bucket and drew a foul for 3 points play. Toronto Raptors got 4 points lead after this play. Lowry scored a clutch bucket with falling away to give 4 points lead to the Raptors and This play decided a win for the Raptors. 6 seconds to go, Jayson Tatum scored a 3-pointer and took his team within a reach. Powell scored his both clutch free throws and sealed a win for Toronto. Toronto won a 2 OT thriller with 125-122.

Kawhi Leonard led Clippers to victory over the Denver Nuggets with his superb performance at both ends by scoring nearly triple-double with 30 points, 11 boards, 9 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. 


Now Denver Nuggets falls behind in a series, In the last series against Utah Jazz they were in the same position and they won the series coming back from a 3-1 deficit. But this time they are against the mighty Los Angeles Clippers who are tough and have a player like Kawhi, Paul George and have very good players who are very good in defence. So it's going to very tough for them to repeat or Nearly impossible for them to come back.

6:41 to go in a quarter, the Los Angeles Clippers took 8 points lead. 5:04 to go Kawhi Leonard made 3-pointer for 9 points lead to the Clippers. 4:56 to go Shamet blocked a shot of Jokic. William's 2 points play gave 11 points lead to the Clippers. 3:19 to go Clippers got 13 points lead in the quarter. 2:56 to go, Denver Nuggets missed 7 3-pointer attempts.2:26 to go, Clippers made an 11-0 run in the last 3 minutes of a game to take the lead of 17 points in a quarter. Nikola Jokic scored the first 8 points from 9 points for Nuggets. 1:04 to go, Paul George with a pullup jumper gave 16 points lead to the Clippers. Porter Jr scored a bucket off the glass. This is Denver Nuggets' lowest first quarter in this playoffs. Clippers got a huge 14 points lead in the first quarter.

Clippers started a quarter with 3 points play which gave 17 points lead to the Clippers. 5:55 to go, Grant made a 3-pointer, and with this Clippers lead cut to 11 points. 4 minutes remaining in a quarter, Porter Jr's long-range shot cut a lead into a single digit for Nuggets. Morris Sr. replied with his own 3-pointer. 2:29 to go, Grant with a post up and with a dunk to finish a play. After the first half of a play Clippers had 8 points lead in a game.      


Kawhi Leonard scored 18 points with 5 boards and 3 assists in the first half of a game. Jokic dropped 12 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists in the first half for Nuggets. Michael Porter Jr was superb in a first half coming off a bench as he scored 15 points in only 14 minutes of the first half.

Nuggets started a quarter with a 3-pointer which cut a lead to only 5 points. 10:48 to go in a quarter, Nikola Jokic with a 3 pointer for Nuggets to cut a lead to only 2 points in a game. Once they were 16 points behind Nuggets in a game.  Nuggets tied a game at 48-48 with an 8-0 run in the first 2 minutes of a quarter. 3:17 to go, the Clippers made a 21-5 run in the last 5:54 minutes of a game which gave them 16 points lead. Clippers were able to hold 10 points lead after 3 quarters play.  


Quarter 4 


8:53 remaining, Harrell worked against Jokic to score a bucket and he did it for 15 points lead to the Clippers. 7:44 to go, Paul George with the baseline 3-point jumper gave 16 points lead to the Clippers. Kawhi finished with a layup for 19 points lead to the Clippers. 2:04 to go, Murray hit a 3 pointer which cut a lead to 9 points for the Nuggets. Nuggets were able to cut 19 points deficit to 9 points but it was too late for them. Nuggets never got any chance after taking a huge deficit in a game. Clippers registered an easy win with 96-95 and they take a commanding lead 3-1 lead in a series.

Los Angeles Lakers take a lead in a series against Houston Rockets with a win in game 3. Whenever the first two games by each team and which team wins game 3 will have 74% success to win a series. 


LeBron James registered his 162nd playoff victory and surpassed Laker legend Derek Fisher who won 161 playoff games. LeBron put his name on another record. LeBron was too good in this game at both ends, Making points and defending the opposing team's player. LeBron finished a game with 36 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 4 blocks. 


The Lakers were very good in a shooting in this game as they made 43 shots from 78 with 55.1 shooting %.  Houston Rockets made 38 buckets from 81 with 46.9 shooting %.


Quarter 1


11:01 minutes to go, LeBron James fired a 3-pointer in a quarter. On the next play, James Harden passed Danny green with ease and scored an easy layup. 9:50 to go, Russell Westbrook bagged a 3-pointer for Houston Rockets. 8:04 remaining in the quarter, LeBron James drained a second 3-pointer in a quarter. 7:14 remaining, Russell Westbrook made an easy layup on James Harden's pass for 2 points lead. The Lakers made a 7-0 run in a minute before 4:33 minutes to go in a  quarter to take 3 points lead. Anthony Davis banged a rim with an alley-oop dunk which was beautifully set up By Rondo. 29.9 seconds to go, Westbrook made a jump shot to get back 1 point lead. Westbrook scored another 2-pointer with this he scored 13 points in the first quarter. Houston Rocket took 1 point lead after quarter 1.   


Quarter 2 


Houston Rockets made a 5-0 run to take a lead of 6 points in the starting one minute of the quarter. 7:16 remaining, Green with a strong finish on James Harden wonderful pass for 6 points lead to the Rockets. LeBron James cut these 6 points lead to 3 points with his 3 point jumper. 5:34 to go, Anthony Davis hit a very tough fadeaway jumper. LeBron James scored 5 points in his two shots to cut a lead to 1 point. 1:39 to go, Lakers were on the run and Anthony Davis had a ball at that time, He passed a ball to LeBron James who finished a run with a hammering two-handed jam. Rajon Rondo to Anthony Davis with an alley-oop pass to finished a play with a dunk. This was the second time Rondo find Anthony  Davis with an alley-oop pass. Houston Rockets were ahead with 3 points after the first half.


Quarter 3


7:24 to go, Gordon tried to score a bucket by putting LeBron James Behind but Lebron stuck to him and put away a ball with a block. This play ended with a bucket by Antony Davis and a lead for the Lakers. 7 minutes to go, LeBron was in way of James Harden's shot as LeBron blocked it with a slap on a ball with crazy jump and play. 1:47 to go, A big 3-pointer by Rondo at the last second of possession which gave 3 points lead to the Lakers. Once again LeBron blocked a shot and it was Rivers whose shot was blocked by LeBron this time. Covington put a ball into a bucket but no count and the game tied at 82-82.  


Quarter 4


LeBron started a quarter with a steal and on the other end, Lakers finished with a bucket. Russell Westbrook replies with a 3-pointer. 8:35 to go, Rajon Rondo stole a ball from Harden and finished a play with a bucket, With this play Rajon Rondo made an 8-0 run with his two 3-pointers in this run. Lakers got 9 points lead after this. Caruso banged a 3-pointer to take the lead of 10 points in a quarter. After this lead Houston Rockets were unable to get back in a game. Lakers steal a game with 112-102 and take a 2-1 lead in a series. 



Los Angeles Lakers' Scorers 


LeBron James was the top scorer in a game with 36 points, 7 boards, 5 dimes, 1 steal, 4 blocks, just 2 turnovers, and a +8 rating in a game. Anthony Davis dropped 26 points, 15 boards with 4 offensive, 6 assists, and a steal. It's rare to see he's not making any block in a game.


In this game, the Lakers' bench did a good job apart from their 2 starts. Rajon Rondo was superb in his last game and he continues his performance as he scored 21 points with 2 boards, 9 assists, and a steal. Kuzma added 14 points with 3 boards, 1 steal, and 1 blocks. 



Houston Rockets' Scorers 


James Harden and Russell Westbrook lead a way for Houston Rockets but it was not enough. James Harden scored 33 points, 9 boards, and 9 dimes with a -7 rating. Russell Westbrook added 30 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block with a -14 rating. Covington and Gordon scored 10 points each. Green made 16 points in a game coming off the bench.

Paul George had a great game as he scored 32 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 assists where he made 5 3-pointers in this game. He made 12 shots from 18 in a game with a shooting percentage of 66.67 to give the Clippers a win and a 2-1 lead in a series. 


Jamal Murray is one reason Nuggets could not stay in a game. He made only 5 shots from 17 which was very bad shooting for any player in NBA. The good news for Clippers is that Paul George regained his form and come back as playoff p. 


Quarter 1


Both teams exchange some leads in the first 3 minutes of a game. 6:46 to go, What a move by Kawhi made a space between 2 Nuggets defender and finished with a baseline jumper. 4:40 remaining, Paul George hit a 3's which gave 2 points lead to the Clippers. Clippers maintained a lead in the first quarter but the Clippers were able to take only a one-point lead after the first quarter.


Quarter 2


Porter Jr dunk gave the first lead to the Nuggets in the second quarter. Denver scored the first 4 points to take lead of 3 points but when 11:01 remaining in the quarter Paul George banged a 3-pointer to tie a game at 36-36. Denver made a 7-0 run to take a lead of 7 points when 9:42 minutes to go in the quarter. 6:50 to go in a quarter, Porter Jr.'s 3 points play gave 8 points lead to the Nuggets. 5 minutes to go in the quarter, Nuggets got 10 points lead. The nuggets got 12 points lead which was the biggest in the quarter. Clipper made a 10-0 run in the quarter in 2 minutes before 1:13 minutes to go in the quarter. 


 Quarter 3


5:43 to Zubac got the 4th foul of the game. 4:44 remaining in the quarter, George's 3-pointer cut a lead to 3 points for the Clippers. 3:22 to go, Harrell fouled Jokic, Jokic made 1 free-throw and missed a one. 2:34 minutes to go, Lou Williams 5 points streak helped the Clippers to take 1 point lead. 52 seconds to go, What a hammer dunk by Porter Jr over Harrell. It was totally dominating. 7 seconds to go, Harrell went to the free-throw line where he made 1 free-throws. Nuggets finished a quarter with a dunk and they took a lead of 4 points after quarter 3.


Quarter 4


Clipper tied a game with a 4-0 run at the starting of the 4th quarter. Beverley stole a ball from Porter Jr and finished on the other end to tie a game at 90-90. 8:29 to go in the quarter, Jerami Grant finished with a long-range shot which gave 7 points lead to the Nuggets. 7:01 to go, Clippers made an 8-0 run after time out to take 1 point lead in a quarter. 5:14 remaining, Kawhi missed a one free-throw that tied a game. It is the 14th tie of a game. 4:51 to what a pass by Kawhi and finished by Zubac to take 1 point lead. Clippers took a lead of 3 points with Kahwi's Bucket. 4:07 to go, Zubac was fouled out in a game. Murry got an offensive rebound and passed a ball to Grant who finished at a rim. Just over 2 minutes to go, the Clippers got 6 points lead in a game. Nuggets scored only 2 points in the last 5 minutes when just over one and a half minutes to go in a quarter. This is where Denver Nuggets lost a game. Los Angeles Clippers won a game with 113-107 and take a 2-1 lead in a series. Denver had their chances but they missed it.

Paul George led a team with 34 points, 4 boards, 4 dimes, and 2 steals. Kawhi Leonard was also good in a game with 23 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks.  Kawhi blocked Jamal Murray's effort to put a dunk with one finger. Morris added 12 points with 4 rebounds with making 6 shots out of 8. Williams scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in a game. Harrell dropped 11 points with 2 steals and 3 rebounds.  



Denver Nuggets' Scorers


Nikola Jokic had a great game with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. He nearly scored a triple-double in a game. Jamal Murray scored only 14 points in a game with 4 boards and 9 dimes. Harris added 10 points with 6 assists. Porter Jr player wonderful in this game as he scored 18 points with 10 boards. Grant and Milsap scored 11 points each in a game.
