English Premier League 2020: Tottenham Hotspur gets a huge victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford and this is their biggest victory for them over Manchester United at Old Trafford. 

Tottenham Hotspur has a great week as they beat Chelsea on penalties in the Carabao Cup on Thursday. They got a huge victory over Maccabi Haifa to reach the Europa League group 7-1. Now they defeated Manchester United 6-1. What a week for Spurs.    

2 minutes, Goal, Manchester United- Bruno Fernandes, Sanchez fouled Martial, Manchester United got a penalty in the second minute of the game. Fernandes didn't make a mistake and put a ball with a little jump kick. 

4 minutes, Goal, Spurs- Tanguy Ndombele, Tanguy hammered home for Spurs instance equalizer. It was a sloppy play by a Manchester United defender which gave supers a chance to score a goal. 

7 minutes, Goal, Spurs- Son, Kane took a quick freekick with a turnaround kick, Son was there to take it in open space. He put a ball into the right corner of the net with just 2 touches. A very good goal by Son.

28 minutes, Manchester United's Martial got a red card because of hitting on the face of Spurs players. It was a huge blow for them. 

30 minutes, Goal, Spurs-Kane, Another bad play by Manchester defender who passed intercepted by Kane. Son got an assist by providing a ball to open men Kane who needed just one touch to score a goal.   

38 minutes, Goal, Spurs- Son, Son run from the outside of the penalty box area,  he got a ball and put a ball into the net with just one touch between the legs of Manchester United's Goalkeeper. A second goal for Son.

First Half: Manchester United 1- Tottenham Hotspurs 4

51 minutes, Goal, Spurs, Serge Aurier, Serge Aurier extended a lead to 5-1 on the lovely pass from his teammate. 

79 minutes, Goal, Spurs, Kane, Pogba fouled Ben Davies, There was no need for Pogba to made that big slide and drew a foul but he did it. Spurs got a penalty. Kane scored another goal in a game with a blazing penalty kick.  

This is the second-worst loss for Manchester United since they lost to Manchester City in October 2011, 6-1.

English Premier League 2020: Leicester City faces first defeat at home against West Ham. With this loss, It's perfect start ended in the EPL.  

Goal- West Ham, Michail Antonio,14', Michail Antonio who was fouled by Calgar Soyuncu took a quick free-kick. Cresswell made a superb play with a left-footed curl kick in the post. Antonio made a run after taking a free-kick when Creswell made that play he was in the Leicester's post to put a ball into a net with his free header.

Goal- West Ham, Pablo Fornals, 34', Another wonderful setup by Cressewells. Crossewells shot a ball very high, Fornals took it with elegance first touch by defeating offside. He made a run into the West Ham's penalty area and put a ball into a net by defeating Goalkeeper Kasper down by his near post.

Goal- West Ham, Jarrod Bowen, 83', This time Fornals was not on the scoring sheet but he made assist for his teammate. He took a ball from the other side of the ground and took a ball, made a long run, and made a superb pass which went to the open man Jarrod Bowen. Who was one on one against Schmeichel? He finished it for West Ham.   

West had a chance to get 4 consecutive victories for the first time in EPL after starting of the season but they missed this chance. Now West Ham falls behind league leader Everton which gets a perfect start in this year's EPL.

Arsenal gets back in winning ways after victory over Sheffield United.

Arsenal is always a top team in the EPL. Now they made into the top five after a victory over Sheffield United.  

The first half was scoreless in the game.61 minutes, Goal, Arsenal- Bukayo Saka, Arsenal players showed a great ball movement in the game for the first goal as Bukayo Saka had to put a ball into a net with a header where he found himself totally open and He did it.

Just after 3 minutes, Arsenal bagged another goal. 64 minutes, Goal, Arsenal- Nicolas Pepe, Pepe play a one-two with his teammate and run with a ball into Sheffield United's post where he simply put a ball into a net by finding a bottom corner of it with his left-footed shot. What an individual goal by Pepe. 

83 minutes, David McGoldrick, Sheffield United, McGoldrick gave some hope to Sheffield United by scoring a superb goal with his left-footed curl shot but they found themself just short to win a game against Arsenal.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

NBA & Olympics 2021: NBA commissioner Adam Silver said on Friday NBA is not likely to have a break next season for the Olympics which is postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in an interview with NBA TV," We will consider it. I think it is unlikely, at the end of the day that if we start late, we would stop for the Olympics."

He also said," Because as you know, It's not just a function of stopping for the period in which they are competing over in Tokyo but they require training camp. and they require afterward."

Adam Silver also showed some concern about foreign players. There are nearly over 100 players in the NBA.

He said," There are so many incredible players, beginning with the USA team, We will be able to field a very competitive team. I am a bit worried about some of the international teams because some of their stars play in our league and their absence would make a huge difference for those national teams ."

He also said," I'd only say these are such extraordinary circumstances that even if we set out to plan for the Olympics, How can they even know what the world is going to be like next summer and whether they can go forward? So I think during these extraordinary times, all the conventional rules are off the table and everybody is going to have to make certain accommodations."

The Olympics was on the 23rd of July, 2020 but it was postponed by a year and it will be on 8th August, 2021. This happens due to the corona pandemic. NBA also effected by this corona pandemic and they shut it for some months. In the regular season, NBA season was already over in June but because of this postponed NBA finals are playing in October and a new season will start in months of January. So players will get the next season full of games.

Nadal enters into the quarter-finals after a win over American S. Korda.

French Open 2020: Rafael Nadal continues his dominant performance in French Open with the win over S. Korda 6-1 6-1 6-2. This is the 14th time Nadal enters into the French Open quarterfinals. 

Now he is in the search for the 20th grand slam title and 13th french open. Italian Teenager Sinner stuns Alexander Zverev who is 6th seed in the tournament. Sinner won a match 6-3 6-3 4-6 6-3. Now Nadal will face Sinner in the quarter-final of the French Open. Sinner is just 19 years old. Sinner becomes the youngest player to reach the quarter-finals at a Grand Slam since Novak Djokovic in 2006.

Nadal is yet to drop a set in the French Open but he has yet to face a seeded player in the tournament. Nadal always gives a dominant performance on clay but in this strong wind, he also struggled. Rafael Nadal saved two break points in the first game and took breakpoints in the 2nd and 4th game of the set as he took a 5-0 lead in the first set. Nadal took the first set 6-1 in 37 minutes.

Rafa took care of 2nd set with some very good holds and also took 2nd set with 6-1. In the third set American youngster broke Rafa's first game of the set and hold his serve to take a 2-0 lead in the game but Nadal stayed strong and won 6 consecutive games of the 3rd set by breaking the American's all serve. Nadal is Sebastian's idol and he is the son of a tennis star, Australian Open Champion Petr Korda.  

Nadal said," He has a big future ahead of him, and I wish him all the best. It's an honor for me to inspire young players and kids to pick up the racquet and step on the court. My entire generation has tried to give its best on the court every day and always improve, I am glad that we inspired the new generation."

He also said," Sebastian made some mistake in crucial points but the way he hits the ball is impressive. It wasn't easy to find the right shots in those windy conditions."

Rafael Nadal converted 8 breakpoints from 11 chances while Korda was unable to get an advantage on his breakpoints. he was able to get only one breakpoint from 6 on Nadal's serve.

UEFA Awards 2020: Bayern Munich dominates UEFA awards. Robert Lewandowski bags the Player of the year award with the success of Bayern Munich in the season. Bayern won the Treble in the 2019-20 season. Robert Lewandowski was the main reason Bayern has a huge success in the 2020 season. 

Robert Lewandowski beat Man. City's Kevin De Bruyne and his own teammate Neuer to win this UEFA prestigious award. He won this award by a huge points difference. He gets 477 points while Bruyne got 90 points and Neuer gets 66 points.  

Robert Lewandowski wins this award because of his great performance in the season. He scored 34 goals in 21 Bundesliga games and 15 goals in UCL with 6 assists. In German Cup, he scored six goals. He scored a total number of 54 goals in the season. Robert Lewandowski wins the best forward of the season award. He grabbed two UEFA awards this season.

Last year Virgil van Dijk won the award playing with Liverpool and Netherlands. Before this Luka Modric won this award with Real Madrid and Portugal.

Neuer played in 11 UEFA Champions League game and only 8 goals conceded with 6 clean sheets. In Bundesliga, he had 15 clean sheets in 33 games. 

Another Award goes to Bayern Munich's side as Hansi gets the Coach Of The Year Award. He beat Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann to get this award.

Bayern's Joshua Kimmich wins this award by beating his own teammates in the race. He got 161 points while his teammate Alphonso Davies got 138 and David Alaba got 119 points. These 3 players played a major role to get Bayern Munich a treble.

NBA Finals 2020: LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored combined 65 points in a game to give the Lakers victory over Miami Heat. Anthony Davis dropped 32 points with 15 of 20 FGA. LeBron James scored 33 points with nearly triple-double. 

Rajon Rondo was superb in this game. He scored 16 points with 10 assists. For Miami, Olynyk scored 24 points coming off the bench. Rajon Rondo passes Steve Nash and Larry Bird for the 6th most playoff assists ever. Anthony Davis was red hot in a game. He missed only 5 shots in a game. 

Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo(neck and left shoulder) and Dragic(torn left plantar fascia) missed a game due to an injury. It is a huge blow for Miami Heat in a game. Tyler Herro started an NBA final in the place of Dragic and becomes the youngest player to start an NBA finals game. Before this Magic Johnson was the youngest one to start an NBA finals game.  

Los Angeles Lakers made 9 3-pointers out of 27 in the first half. They shot a ball with 55 FG%. Lakers made 16 3-pointer from 47 in a game(season-high). Miami Heat got a huge number of free throws in a game with 34 and they made 31 out of them. Lakers got 16 offensive rebounds compared to Miami Heat's 6. Lakers made 16 consecutive shots in a game.

Lakers and Miami were tied at 8-8 when 8:35 to go in the quarter. After that Lakers turn around a game and made a 14-6 run to get 8 points lead when 4:07 left in the quarter. 3:53 to go in the quarter, Duncan Robinson made 3 free throws which cut the lead to 5 points. 2:37 to go, Anthony Davis made a dunk on LeBron James assist. Lakers were able to get 6 points lead after the first quarter.

Quarter 2

LeBron James started the quarter with a 3-point jumper. Alex Caruso made 3-pointer on LeBron James assist to give 10 points lead to the Lakers. Lakers got 12 points lead with LeBron James making a driving layup but Nunn made both free throws to cut the lead to 10 points. 9:01 to go, Danny Green's 3-pointer gave 13 points lead to the Lakers

5:11 to go, Nunn's 3-pointer cut a lead to 4 points. Miami Heat made 14-5 run to cut the Lakers' 13 points lead to 4 points. Markieff Morris hit a long-range shot on Rondo's assist. Kyle Kuzma made all 3 free throws which gave 11 points lead to the Lakers. Lakers made a run of 9-5 in the last 2:13 minutes of the quarter. 

Anthony Davis scored 15 points with 4 boards, 1 assist. LeBron James added 12 points with 4 boards, 6 assists, and a block. Kuzma scored 8 points while Rondo made 9 points with 4 boards. Jimmy Butler dropped 11 points with 5 boards, 8 assists, and 1 steal. Crowder and Herro made 9 points in the First Half.  Lakers made 9 3-pointers in the half.

Quarter 3

LeBron James started a quarter with a pull-up jump shot. 10:57 to go, Crowder made 3-pointer on Jimmy Butler's assist. 9:35 to go, Duncan Robinson made 3-pointer but Anthony Davis replied with his own 3-pointer to get back 15 points lead. 8:24 to go, Anthony Davis scored consecutive 9 points for the Lakers until LeBron James made 3 points play. Lakers got 18 points lead in a game. Howard missed both free-throws but KCP got offensive rebounds. Danny Green missed an open 3-pointer. Miami Heat cut a lead to 14 points with Iguodala's 2 points shot. 5:47 to go, Anthony Davis' tip a shot on KCP missed shot. 

4:36 to go, Anthony Davis grabbed another rebound and scored on it. 3:56 to go, Kelly Olynyk's 3-pointer get back Miami Heat to 13 points deficit. 3:08 to go, Olynyk made another 3-pointer but the Lakers replied with Rajon Rondo's 3-pointer. 2:15 to go, LeBron James knocked down a 3-pointer on Rondo's assist. Olynyk made a driving layup with a free throw and cut a lead to 11 points. 48.8 seconds to go, Herro made both of his free throws which cut a lead to 9 points. 37.2 to go, Rajon Rondo made 3-pointer.

9:41 to go, Morris made 3-pointer on LeBron James assists for 12 points lead to the Lakers. 6:13 to go, Both teams were unable to score any points in a game LeBron James made a tip shot in 3 minutes. Lakers never gave any chance to Miami Heat with the lead they have.

French Open 2020: Rafael Nadal cruises into the round of 16 with an easy victory over Stefano Travagla of Italy. Rafael Nadal getting near and near to match Roger Federer's 20 major titles. Rafael Nadal won a game with 6-1, 6-4, 6-0.

Rafael Nadal registered his win in just 95 minutes. It's another game where Nadal won one set without giving any points in a game of the third set. He gave only 5 games to his opponent in a match. Nadal is yet to drop any set in the french open. 

Nadal started a game in a dominant fashion, He gave only one game in the first set with winning the first nine points. He gave his opponent only six points. 

Nadal broke Travaglia's serve and went ahead with 4-3 but in the next game his opponent got a breakpoint on his serve but Nadal showed his resilient nature and saved a breakpoint. After this Travaglia held his serve in a second set. Nadal also held his serve and took a game, a set. He took a 2-0 lead in a match.

In the third set of a game, Nadal didn't give any chances to his opponent as he won the last set 6-0. Travaglia managed to get only 8 points in the set. Now he will face 213th ranked American qualifier, Sebastian Korda. 

 

Nadal said," I think today I played the best match this year at Roland Garros. " 

Domini Thiem also got a win in the third round of the French Open. He defeated Norway's Casper Ruud with a 6-4 6-3 6-1. Now he is in the round of 16 of the french open. Thiem struggled in the first set of a match where he faced 6 breakpoints. Thiem will face Daston who stuns Wawrinka.  

2015 french open champion Stan Wawrinka faced a shock defeat against 239 ranked player Hugo Gaston with 2-6 6-3 6-3 4-6 6-0. 

A match between Sonego and Fritz went into 2 tiebreakers. Sonego won a match with 7-6(7-5), 6-3, 7-6(19-17). In the third set, the tiebreaker went to 30 minutes. This tiebreaker is just 2 points away from matching the record set by Tsonga and Andy Roddick. They record 38 points in a tiebreaker.  

Zverev came back from his bad performance in his last game and got an easy win over Marco Cecchinato with 6-1 7-5 6-3.
