LeBron James and Lakers agree to two years, $85 million extension.

NBA's Hot Shot: After a huge success of last season with the Lakers by winning an NBA title, LeBron James agrees to give more two years to the Lakers organization. 


Last season Lakers became the most successful NBA team with Boston Celtics by winning 17 NBA Championships. LeBron James was unable to make his team successful in his first season with the Lakers. They were unable to make even playoffs because LeBron James injured himself in that season. 


When he got injured in that season, the Lakers were in the top tier in the Western Conference standings but after coming back from injury Lakers were in the bottom tier in the Conference standing and they failed to make playoffs. After many years LeBron was unable to make it into the playoffs.


After this failure, LeBron James and the Lakers made a huge move to get Anthony Davis and give their all potential to New Orleans Pelicans. 


LeBron James agreed to a 2-year, $85 million contract extension, Agent of LeBron James- Rich Paul told ESPN.

As per ESPN LeBron James will get $ 39.2 in 2020-21 season, $41,180,544 in 2021-22 season and $44,474,988 in 2022-23. 


LeBron James has a chance to top the all-time scoring list. He is just 4146 points behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the top position on the all-time scoring list.


LeBron James has the best chance to achieve many things in Lakers uniform. He also has a chance to make a gap between him and Michael Jordan.

Lakers made a huge move to get Anthony Davis in the 2019 offseason by trading their top talent and top picks in the NBA draft- Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and a package of several draft picks. The Lakers paid a huge price to get Anthony Davis in this trade. The Lakers paid a price but they got a reward by winning the 2019-20 NBA title in a very tough bubble environment.      


Now, LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play more 3 years with Los Angeles Lakers and they have a chance to make a 3-peat by winning 3 consecutive titles if another team gets a 3-superstar and LeBron James will not be healthy as he is now.

Anthony Davis is the next superstar who will lead the Lakers After LeBron James passed the torch to him. Anthony Davis already made a trade demand to New Orleans Pelicans in the 2018-19 season but it was denied by NOP and Anthony Davis didn't play in most of that season with NOP. 


This is a good move by the Los Angeles Lakers to get two of the top 10 players in the current NBA  Now they are the best duo in the NBA because LeBron has his MVP form and Anthony Davis makes himself stronger at both ends with LeBron James.

 

Anthony Davis will play for Los Angeles Lakers until 2024-25 season and LeBron James until 2022-23 season. Now LeBron James getting old and he is 35 years old now which is a very big age for any NBA player. Now LeBron James will not be at his best, Lakers have another superstar who can lead them to an NBA title with no prime LeBron James and another star like Luka Doncic with Anthony Davis. 


After getting success in the first season with the Lakers. Anthony Davis and LeBron James hoping to get more success with Los Angeles Lakers. 


Anthony Davis has the best chance to win the MVP award this season and more 2 or 3 MVP awards with the Lakers.


On the opening night, the Lakers will face their city rival Los Angeles Clippers which team just missed a huge chance to win their maiden NBA championship.

Football: Argentina's legendary footballer Diego Maradona passed away due to a heart attack on Wednesday. Maradona suffered a heart attack in Tigre, Buenos Aires after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain earlier this month, according to reports.

He is arguably the best player ever live with Pele. Many said that Maradona and Pele are the best players of all time. 

Maradona gave Argentina the best gift in 1986 when he single handily won a Worldcup for Argentina. His "hand of God" goal will always be remembered.

Now after getting the championship, they got Dennis Schroder who was the contender for the Sixth Man Of The Year. The Lakers got him by trading Danny Green and the 28th pick- Jaden McDaniels from Oklahoma City Thunder. Dannis Schroder scored 18.9 PPG, 4 APG, and 3.6 RPG in the 2019-20 season. This was the best season of his career. 


Dannis Schroder led NBA in scoring coming off the bench in the 2019-20 season with a career-highs in FG%(46.9) and 3P%(38.5), He was just behind Harrel in Sixth Man Of The Year voting.

After trading Danny Green Lakers lost a very good player who is very good at shooting and can guard very well. A place left by Danny Green at the start of free agency Lakers got a very good player named Wesley Matthews just after Danny Green's departure.

Morris is a very good player who gives you only some points in a game but can provide a very good defense to the Lakers. 


Los Angeles Lakers got a very big player named Marc Gasol who is a very good player in assisting a ball, in scoring, a very good defender, and very good in pick and roll option. He is a 3-time all-star. The Lakers also got Alfonzo McKinnie. 


Anthony Davis has yet to choose his contract with the Lakers. After getting these kinds of players Lakers bench becomes very strong but they Lakers something like the strength of the body at the rim.


Lakers lost Avery Bradley, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, and JaVale McGee. Avery Bradley is a very good parameter defender but he is getting old. Lakers become younger after this free agency trade.

He averaged 7.5 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.4 SPG, and 1.1 BPG. These are good numbers for any player who averaged just 19 minutes in 69 games coming off the bench. 


Dwight Howard averaged 16.7 PPG, 12.3 RPG, 0.9 SPG, 1.9 BPG, and 1.4 APG. He played 16 seasons in NBA and won one NBA title. 


Now he will try to give Joel Embiid some of his experience and try to take Embiid to next level and try to win a title with the Philadelphia 76ers. Dwight Howard won defensive player of the year 3 consecutive years in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Dwight Howard is an 8-time all-star and he selected to All-NBA Team 8 times and a five-time All-Defensive Team.


If he gives his all to 76ers how he gave to the Lakers then it will be great for the 76ers and it means the process continues for the hunt for an NBA title.

NBA 2020- Injury: Klay Thompson is a key in Golden State Warriors to be successful and once again he faces another Achilles injury. He ruled out for the 2020-21 NBA season and it is a huge blow to the Warriors.

Klay Thompson has the ability to play off the ball and he is the best to catch and shoot player and today's NBA. He doesn't need a ball in his hand to score many points. He scored 60 points in just 3 quarters in the 2016-17 season against Indiana Pacers.


Warriors just win a lottery by drafting Wiseman in the 2020 NBA Draft. He is a big man what GSW just needed with the shooters and Dryamong Green like the all-around player they have. Now Klay's absence put a huge hole in GSW's starting lineup. 


Now Los Angeles Lakers have another year to make into the NBA finals. 


Now to fill Klay Thompson's place GSW finalizing a trade to acquire OKC's young guard Kelly Oubre Jr who played his best NBA season with Chris Paul.

I just had to bust out in tears because I have been through a lot of adversity in my life but I'm ready to go into Golden State with a great mindset with a different mindset, ready to go in there and just learn as much as possible, grow my game and just adapt and just work my tail off. I have a great relationship with Steph, I went to his camp so he taught me a lot. When I was in high school, he taught me a lot about the game of basketball, gave me a lot of information. I actually took a picture with him, so that's my guy."


LaMelo Ball is one of the best players in this draft and he is a brother of Lonzo Ball who plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. LaMelo Ball is a gifted passer. He played in Lithuania and Australia before he was drafted by Charlotte Hornets. LaMelo and Lonzo Ball become the first pair of brothers in NBA history to be drafted in the top 5.


He averaged 17 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7 assists in 12 games in Australia's National Basketball League. 


LaMelo Ball said," I definitely feel great falling to Charlotte but the way I've fallen down, I never looked at it like that because like I say, whatever happens, happens and I feel like it's God's plan. So wherever he wanted to put me, that's where he put me,  and I feel like he is going to let me blossom there."


Chicago Bulls selected Patrick Williams as the No. 4 picks. Cleveland Cavaliers selected Issac Okoro as the No.5 pick in NBA Draft.
